I took a chance, and with the help of a few YT instructional vids, I was able to change this out. I am so happy with this install! The directions it came with were ok, but the videos found online helped more. Make sure you have all the right tools. You'll need: Trim removal tool Flathead screwdriver Adjustable wrench Sockets 10mm & 8mm Torx bits: T30, T20 Allen head: 5/32 Adaptors may be needed for the sockets Removing the old air intake was one of the main challenges I encountered. I had virtually no issues with installing the new one. Challenges were (I have a Jeep JL): Removing grill without scratching it on the aftermarket front bumper (I only had about a 3/4 of an inch gap to work with). Removing air intake air temperature sensor while being careful with it. Overall, I am very happy with this. It also makes my Jeep sound way better and a little meaner.
