Lonely Planet Italy (Travel Guide)

Went to italy ....... This book was a real help....... although it is not as small as other guides but the details inside are awesome...... loved it...

Una ottima guida per vedere il nostro Paese con gli occhi di uno straniero e per trovare nuovi spunti di viaggio nelle migliaia di località visitabili in Italia. consigliatissimo!

日本のガイドブックに書かれていない地域を旅行するにあたって、購入してみました。ちょっとマイナーな地域を旅をしながら読んだだけですが、著者の主観が強すぎると思いました。おすすめの村に行ってみましたが、私にはまったく面白くなかった！！私の琴線には響くものが皆無でした。イタリア語のガイドブックも持っていたのですが、有名なそのガイドブックには全く掲載されていない村でした。 ホテルもせいぜい3つ星程度までの紹介。レストランの選び方は「地球の歩き方」のほうが断然いいと思いました。私の旅には向いていませんでしたので星は4つです。この本は、アウトドアを楽しんだり、ドライブをしたりする体験型のツーリストにはいいかもしれませんが、日本人が求めている旅には、どうでしょうか？？

I always go for the lonely planet books and once again, it did not disappoint. It has a lot of recommendations with addresses and places to see.

A large book that had enough detail on the areas that we visited- Umbria, Rome and Naples. Highly recommended. You know you can't go wrong with lonely planet!
