I want to use this in my truck. Will the adhesive hold in the heat of the sun?

Yes it will hold. The 3M is one of the strongest in the world. I live in Brazil and sometimes the heat is climbing to the 110 - 120s still no problem.

Can this be removed from a car's interior, and would there be any visible residue left on the dash?

I haven’t had a chance to remove mine yet, but if there is any visible residue from the adhesive, you can just use a cleaning solution that does not harm upholstery.

Idea is to install it on wireless power bank ?

Its tricky... some phones won't react unless making close enough contact. Its a hit and miss sometimes on a wireless charger alone
