This is an amazing true story! Perfect for sharing with children as it teaches them about the most precious life lessons; love, compassion and to never give up! They will love the adorable piggy images of Pickles, Tickles and pup brother Dill. We’ve never found another story that has touched our hearts in such a beautiful way! It’s such a good conversation starter. This is sure to be a true classic for many generations to come! ...would love to see it made into a film!!!

This is a short, very sweet, true story about how one gigantic pig saved a young wee lil pig’s life! The author is a lovely young lady with a HUGE HEART that loves to adopt animals and give them their BEST life, no matter WHAT that takes! Kids and adults alike will love this story, the illustrations and the message this book sends to all, about love and perseverance.

My nephews are 4 and 6 yrs old and they LOVE this book! They were both immediately captivated by the story and photos! They had so many questions about Pickles and Tickles, and they were really happy to find out that Tickles has a home too. This book is a happy start to teach kids about the importance of taking care of and showing compassion to animals. I hope there’s a Book 2 in the works, I’d especially love to hear about the other animals that live with Pickles and Dill!

I bought two of these books for my 2 granddaughters! I have been a follower of PIckles and his brother Dill on Instagram for some time and have fallen in love with these characters and the rest of their unique family. The story of Tickles is beautiful and a wonderful example of how humans and animals can work together to help each other. I look forward to more stories of PIckles and his crew as he grows up and matures.

I purchased this book for a 5 year-old just learning to read. She was entranced by the "true" nature of the story, proven through wonderful photos, and the rhythmic, graphic style of the text. The next day, dad sent me a photo of his daughter "reading" the story to her family at breakfast.

This is a wonderful book based on the true story of Pickles and how Tickles saved him. Enjoyed by all ages, it inspires people to show compassion for all living things on this beautiful planet we share. Maddie, thank you so much for sharing Pickles' beautiful story!!!

This is a beautifully written and photographed book for ALL ages! You are able to feel author and mom Maddie’s love & passion for all animals especially her special bond to Pickles, her pet pig. Just as in her Instagram posts (@livingwithpickles), Maddie brilliantly brings Pickles “voice” to life just as you would imagine!
