Donner Yellow Fall Vintage Pure Analog Delay Guitar Effect Pedal True Bypass

At first I was reluctant to buy this. Then I watched some reviews about Donner and the quality of their pedals. There is mostly positive feedback, and since this was available at a discounted price, I thought I'll give it a shot. Arrived today. I'm impressed at the quality sound this delivers for the price. It is well built, knobs are not loose. Definitely packs a punch with its metal chassis, has a certain weight to it which feels nice in the hand. Lovely yellow colour. One thing I noticed when comparing to pedals from top-end brands, the click of the foot switch feels as if it is not premium, but hey, the price is a lot less than premium brands too, otherwise everything else is good. On a scale of 1 to 10, if a premium brand's foot switch is rated at 9, I would rate this at 6, though, only time will tell how long it lasts. For its Delay sound, I'll give about 7.5. Its actually nice but have to be careful not to go all the way, especially on the F.BACK (feedback) knob otherwise the echo continues to increase gradually turning into a screeching sound not pleasant to the ear. But it's better to have it this way than when you want to push the effect further and the pedal limits it. For anyone who is budget conscious, you should definitely look into these pedals. I think I'll be trying more Donner pedals. I will make a mini pedalboard out of an old kitchen chopping board, put some Hook-and-Loop velcro with just these mini pedals on it. Will be so portable and travel friendly. ** A word of warning ** For those who are just beginning their journey with guitar pedals, note that this pedal (like most pedals) does not come with a 9v power supply (center-negative). Do not use a regular (center-positive) power supply on guitar pedals. It will not work, or worse, it may damage the pedal. Most electronics take a center-positive power supply whereas majority of guitar pedals take center-negative. Keep that in mind. Alternatively, you could use a USB to 9v (center-negative) cable/adapter and let your pedal run off the USB power bank, which you may already have for charging your mobile phone. This is the way I normally run individual pedals (see photo). The cable I'm using transfers 9v at max. 1 ampere. I have run pedals that take 300ma to 800ma using this successfully. Although the backside of the Donner Yellow Fall pedal states 500ma, I think that's the max. and actual milli-amp consumption would be much less (though, don't quote me on this). If you find that using such a cable/adapter is causing unnecessary noise or hissing, then the cable/adapter is likely less ampere capable. Disconnect and do not use that cable/adapter. Also do not use a 12v adapter as it could fry the pedal's internal electronics. Update as of 30th April 2026 ---------------------------------- Contrary to the item heading in this listing, this Donner Yellow Fall is NOT a true analog pedal. It is a digital delay pedal that uses a PT2399 chip to emulate the warm, vintage tone of analog delay. So just keep that in mind before you purchase. It is still a good sounding pedal. You can search the internet about this.

The best delay padel in this budget. It's a very small equipment easy to carry and very solid 🪨 build quality I am very happy with it 😄😄😄 I am using with my analog synth and sound really amazing

I purchased on the basis of good reviews. But found it very nice and perfect in use . I give it 5 star . You have to use 9 volt adaptor but I suggest make arrangements to use 9volt battery input so you can use anywhere without using 220volts for adaptor.

Simple and easy to use delay pedal. Clear and sweet tone and no hum. Received at reasonable price.

No adapter provided along with the product. And the specific adapter is available on prime delivery only after a week. Finally the adapter arrives but the pedal only works at a certain angle. Not recommended to buy unless the product is provided with an adapter.

Bought this bright bad boy for my synth set up and wasn’t disappointed. It’s good value, has a decent sound range and is robust. I’d originally bought a Behringer pedal but it was dreadful so swapped it for the Donner and am so pleased I did.

Pedal é ótimo! Com a fonte adequada não faz HSSs ou alguma barulho. Delay suave e perceptível para criar sustain. Também permite experimentações com feedback e eco. E ele não altera a tone das notas, deixando o som cristalino do jeito que entra na cadeia de sinal. Vale a pena

Suono discreto, lo uso per dare corpo al suono nei solo e negli arpeggi, ma la regolazione è un po’ difficile su tempi brevi per l’ escursione del pot. Sui tempi lunghi il suono diventa sottile e artificiale.
