Nice Watch Winder!
I bought the (Newly Upgraded) Versa after discovering my Rolex needed a winding machine, and a number of internet sites listed the Versa as a good choice. Received it today and set it up. My first thought was that it was larger than I imagined. Larger than a soft ball... Cantaloupe size maybe? Here are my thoughts.1. Instructions are simple, as is set-up.2. This thing is quiet!!! Seems to run like a fine watch :)3. Adapter wire looks pretty thin, and instructions say do not leave plugged in over extended periods if you are not using it. WHY! Is it dangerous?4. Love the sci-fi like blue lights on the thing.5. My 36MM Datejust fit perfectly.6. Day one thoughts - I like it!Details - I'm no watch expert, but some cursory research I found on the net said that certain watches liked to be wound in certain ways. Clockwise for some, others counterclockwise, and different settings for the time needed to wind them. I found an obscure website that listed watch brands and what their watches liked for winding purposes. The instructions do not discuss this and its sad because without this information you can't set up your winder with confidence. The website said most Rolex watches like being wound in multi-directions at the second speed level.I set the adjustments on the Versa and turned it on. Its Quiet!! And it began spinning, slowly and confidently. Blue lights flashing. It was almost pretty and I'm sure I could have been entertained for hours watching it. (Not as fun to watch as a Roomba which can entertain me during most of an afternoon, but still pretty good.) Except it turned itself off, which it is absolutely supposed to do. I have not caught it running again so far, but I know it has been working because my watch is in a different position whenever I happen to glance over at it.Bottom line first day impressions.. Works great. Best winder around for $49.

A GREAT watch winder for the price point. Who needs a Wolf Winder??
I'd read online reviews about this watch winder, and they all made mention of the quality for the price point. The reviews are correct. This is a fantastic watch winder for the price.I own multiple automatic watches, and I've used this winder every day since it was purchased. It is quiet, looks great on the side table, and I love the adjustable settings. Many expensive winders don't have as many settings as the Versa, and it's important as each watch movement responds differently to direction and revolutions per day. The only thing I wish was better was the light inside, as it doesn't do a great job of illuminating the front of the watch. That said, this product still gets 5 stars from me.Save money and buy a winder that looks great, has fantastic functionality, and is able to adapt to almost any automatic watch on the market. Highly recommended product. Thanks, Versa!

Good Value. Nice Options. Silent Operation.
This is a good winder for the money. Silent. It turns for a while, rests for a while (the length of the rest depends on the TPD setting), then turns again. The auto setting will turn it clockwise and counterclockwise at seemingly random intervals; so some people may think the turns are only one direction, but thatโs not the case. You can turn the light on or off during operation; you can set the appropriate/desired TPD (Turns Per Day); and you can determine which direction you want the watch to turn or if you want it to automatically alternate. The instruction sheet also comes with a chart of popular watch brands and which combination of settings are likely to work best. I have Ball, Omega and Rolex watches and it provided guidance on the settings for each to get me started; saving days of operational โtestingโ to find the best setting. The only complaint I have is that I wish the watch was seated on a completely cushioned watch holder. It has a strip of foam on the very back, where the watch clasp rests; and a circle of the same type of thin, firm foam where the back of the watch casing rests. The rest of the watch holder is plastic. Granted, plastic isnโt hard enough to scratch the Oystersteel bracelet on my Rolexes, for example; but I would still prefer a more cushioned surface for every single place the watch touches on the holder. Overall, this is a good value for the price. It even has a feature or two Iโve found to be missing even on some more expensive winders, (such as the option to adjust the TPD). So overall, this is a good value and it works well. In fact, I like it enough that Iโve ordered a second one that is due to be delivered today.

Just perfect for price to quality
If you are a watch enthusiast, a watch winder is an essential accessory to keep your automatic watches running smoothly when they're not being worn. The black and compact watch winder I purchased has several useful features that make it a great choice for anyone looking to keep their timepieces in top condition. One of the most notable features of this watch winder is its multiple winding modes. It allows for clockwise, counterclockwise, and bidirectional winding, which is suitable for most automatic watches. Additionally, it offers several oscillation settings that can be customized to suit the specific requirements of your watch.Another great feature of this watch winder is the built-in light that allows you to see your watch even in low light conditions. This is especially useful when you need to quickly check the time or adjust the settings.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of this black and compact watch winder. Its multiple winding modes, customizable oscillation settings, and built-in light make it a versatile and useful accessory for anyone who owns automatic watches. Additionally, its compact size makes it easy to store and transport. I would highly recommend this watch winder to anyone who wants to keep their watches running smoothly and in top condition.

Give it a miss.
I'll start with the good: the LED light works. Problem is, that's a completely useless feature. For something that's likely to sit in a bedroom, why would you want it to light up in the middle of the night? Oh, the watch holder is also pretty secure. It holds my Tissot Visodate quite well. And the clear plastic hatch opens and closes well. But here endeth the good news.To steal a quote from Douglas Adams, the superficial design flaws very nearly hide the fundamental construction flaws. The switches make no sense at all. These were obviously sourced from some generic place, and the three positions on each switch (one for clockwise/dual/counterclockwise and one for off/on with LED off/on and LED on) are marked, respectively, I/O/II. Never mind that electrically, O means OFF (check out IEC 5008), but they apparently decided this thing is so special the marking that are known everywhere else don't apply to them. They do mark the switch with the actual functions, but this creates confusion and, quite honestly, shows how little thought was put into this thing. And here's the real issue: It didn't work. Sure, the LED would light, but it wouldn't spin. An initial test upon receiving the thing indicated it could work, but after that I never once saw it moving. The watch also stopped once the power reserve depleted. The thing was nonfunctional unless you have some kind of need for a glowing blue orb of a watch holder with poor switch markings. The price is right, the function is wrong. Nonexistent, even. I'm returning this thing and buying something else. Pity, I wanted to like it.

Works perfectly; new model addresses many of the negative reviews
The Versa Watch Winder has worked beautifully for my watch in the initial trial run. Some of the problems others have reported appear to have been addressed by Versa in the latest version of the product:1) The unit now has 4 speed settings: 342, 864, 1080 and 2160 turns per day. The 864 setting is perfect for my Tissot automatic. Each setting consists of a few minutes of turning followed by long pauses. Those who have reported that their unit isn't working may have failed to understand the long pauses. For example, the 864 setting consists of 10 minutes of rotation followed by 90 minutes of pause. Unless you are watching carefully, you might think the unit isn't working during the pause phase.2) The on/off switch now has 3 settings: Off; On with the LED on; and On with the LED off. This addresses the concern of those who objected to the light coming on during sleep.3) The unit comes with a directional switch: Right rotation; Left rotation; and bi-directional.4) The watch pillow is spring loaded to fit many watch band lengths. It also comes with an extender for larger arms/longer watch bands. With the extender it works just fine for my larger wrist (my watch band is fully extended). This seems to address the complaints of some that the watch is loose in the device. Also the watch needs to be properly oriented on the watch pillow, and the watch pillow properly oriented and fully seated in its slot. (Might a loose-fitting watch also be the source of the clicking noise that some report?)5) I find the device is amazingly quiet. You have to put your ear right up against it to even hear it. Certainly not loud enough to wake one up or to keep one awake at night. After 2 days of use, I can't evaluate the longevity of the watch winder. If it fails prematurely, I'll report back.

THERE'S NO BLUE LIGHT anymore!
I bought this Versa watch winder as a gift for my watch lover based on the reviews and the video ads showing that mellow blue ring around the watch holder, and THEY DON'T MAKE IT LIKE THAT ANYMORE.Bummer.This piercing white LED pin light shoots up from the bottom at the edge of the watch holder in this wonder. The crummy light doesn't show off the watch; the winder can't be used bedside, and the white LED light makes it look cheap. It glares into your eyes unless it's placed on a surface eye-level or above. And the cord is shorter than anything else he plugs in.It IS super quiet, it's a sweet gadget... but the looks fail if you want the blue light.(And they don't list Tudor watches in the chart of many watches, but the correct TPD is 650.)

Functional and Sylish.
This watch winder works great and looks great.. First off is the electronic aspect. The motor is sturdy and quiet. Placed on a nighttable, you don't even notice it is there. The electrical converter is just as sturdy, and long enough for you to place the winder in most places, rather than right near an outlet. The winder has three different directions you can rotate the watch: clockwise, counter clockwise, and bi-directional. While I don't really get the purpose, it is nice to have options. Finally, the winder is very professional-looking. It is made with quality parts and is not shabby. It looks good on my nighttable, and fits with pretty much everything due to it's color. It actually looks a bit futuristic, which is neat. The looks of this watchwinder earn 5 star.Overall, I would highly recommend this watchwinder. It looks good in any room, matches everything, and most importantly, functions great. I have winded a watch every night for 8-12 hours, and it is still as quiet and functional as when I bought it. If you need to get a single watch winder, this would be by recommendation. Fairly priced and functional, you can't go wrong.
