I heard about this band through the single they put on the "Punk goes Pop" cd, and wanted to check them out, because the song "Time to talk" was amazing. I can't say that the band didn't live up to the song, but they simply tried to put a little too much into it, making the songs garbled and confusing to where they were going. Throughout their whole album there are spotty places, where you think, "wow this band is awesome," but then the next instant they break off into something else, and you lose it. Overall though, this is a good cd, and if Open Hand capitalized on their ability to play songs like "Time to talk" and the first part of "Life as is," they would be pretty amazing.
