These adapters are great! I bought them to connect 3 DVI monitors (Samsung 2433BW) to my new iMac Pro. They worked perfectly right out of the box. No reboot, no configuration necessary. Compare this to Ap**le's $70 adapter!

One of the two stopped working after 6 months. I’m not sure that it was the cables fault anymore. The other works great so let’s call it good.

The cable (after one day) is absolutely fine. The problem is the box it came in. It has some information on the back in six languages in what must be two point type or smaller. If you're going to bother to provide information, at least make it readable.

This did just what I needed to, plugging my new Macbook into an older HD monitor I'm using. Excellent value and I like that it's a cable instead of a dongle.

Plugged this into the DVI port on my (admittedly quite old) Dell monitor and one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports on my new MacBook Air and — nada.Well, not quite nada. The Mac's Displays System Preferences panel indicates something has been connected because it briefly flashes up the 'Arrangement' tab, but then reverts to the basic configuration.Back to Amazon it goes.

I bought this cable to connet my Dell Lattitude 2 in 1 laptop 5285 (USB-C) with an external monitor (DVI). The cable was physically hooked up with both ends, but there was no electronic communication whatsoever. It should work in principle, but didn't in reality. Shame!!

After several aborted attempts at getting adaptors to work (none were recognised) we purchased two of these DVI to Thunderbolt 3 cables. Plugged them in and instantly the monitors came to life. Used the two Thunderbolt sockets with two cables to power two DVI monitors. Very happy.

I tried using this with my MacBook Pro 2018 and it worked but it kept flickering spontaneously. I had to return it as I tried everything to make it stop flickering but it just wouldn't.The cable itself is very durable and is quite strong.

Used this on both my work Macbook and also for Samsung phone, video quality is good with no dropouts. Good value!
