it works.
it works but i didnt find any documentation for it. it is a bit confusing in that the USB power socket is at the other end to the Biostee feed end which is something you need to watch out for.when going to pair it with an SDR.

Great GOES LNA and filter!
With a 1.7GHz dish I'm getting a great GOES downlink! Works great with the RTLSDR Blog V3 built-in bias tee.

Excellent product for a very Niche market
What can I say, I have been impressed with all of Nooelecs products, of which I have several! This Sawbird+ for GOES is perfect for my application which was to build a GOES receiving station from a Raspberry PI, and a Nooelec Smartee XTR with an attached GOES Sawbird+. I like that it has multiple ways to power it depending on the application. As an anecdotal side note, it works great in the cold as well, have had -2 f temps and all is working well! Highly recommended!usradioguy.com

Not totally working
I would give this 5 stars but the USB power does not work at all. Still works with bias t though. Decided to keep it anyways.I have had a few items from NooElec arrive as malfunctioning. Overall I am happy with their products because the price allows hobbyists to experiment without going broke.

Works Great!
Below is a quote from a reviewer."It would be better if there was an option to down convert the signal for long cable runs, so that is why I am giving it 4/5. "Well...add about $1,000.00 to the cost and they can add the "Down-converter" .That's like buying a tire and complaining it didn't come with a car...lol!!!Back to the pre-amp...works just as it should and the cost is very fair!!Thomas - KT4WO
