HawkeMount Inserts for Ring Mounts to add 25 MOA Elevation

The dimension of .800" overall length is not right. The photo shows two shoulders, one on either side of the shim, there is only one. The shim will cover a one inch wide ring by that I mean the length of the shim past the shoulder. I have not tried it yet but I expect these to work with my BKL two strap one inch long Rings , BKL rings are the only rings that fit Suhl, and Older Anschutz dove tails with a radiused top on the dovetail..

Don't buy from this seller!! I read at least one review that stated they were plastic and they are! I did take chance thinking his experience was an anomaly. This paragraph was copied straight from the sellers page:"PRECISION ENGINEERED high grade aluminum for lightness, strength and a perfect fit."18 bucks is outrageous for these plastic shims!

The following is the description for this item. It is false, they are plastic and a little glossy. Amazon needs to correct the description. I would not buy them knowing what I know now.

The item's description says "aluminum", a "precision engineered high grade aluminum", what a hoax.When I received the two pieces, they're just cheap plastic. And the plastic's quality can't even compare to Magpul's plastic. This is an obvious fraud.

Not sure what these will do long term but got me out of a bind quickly without a major cost. Bought a scope that ran out of adjustment and I was looking at having to get a canted rail and different mounts and rings. Probably saved me $100. Quick and easy to install. Wish they were steel, but I think they are going to do fine long term. Can hardly see them.

Didn't work at all for me. I threw it away.

I bought these to resolve an issue with my son running out of downward adjustment on his newly installed scope. It solved the problem perfectly.
