A Great Machine
Picture not required... an honest comment IS! After reading about several ozone generators, I decided to purchase this PROFESSIONAL unit, based on the volume of air it cleans within the allotted time frames. We just moved into a new (5-year) old house, where the previous owner had smoked cigars in the garage space. The house was fine, but the garage smell would gag any non-smoker. THIS SMELL... had to go! I tried solvents and other solutions and even painted the walls with Kiltz. BUT... washing and painting the ceiling, especially around the garage opener components was going to be a major task. The ceiling had no discoloring (yellowing), but it did smell terrible while I was washing the paint. Hence... an ozone generator IS the best option! Forget the home-remedy cleaners and just fork out some money for a decent ozone generator. Because... they work! After setting this unit in the garage- and closing all doors to it- I let it run for 8-hours and did this for two nights. The timer function allows you to SET and WALK away! Guess what! It worked... NO smell after two treatments and SO... I used it on our car too. It had a foul odor from previous smokers usage (not ours) and one night with this ozone generator cured what all the shampoos and other scent cover-uppers could not do. Just set it up, turn on the timer, and close the doors until it completes its cycle. I would recommend this unit to any person who has to live with a smoker or buys a product or home where smokers have been. IT WORKS!

not much instuction
I have only used it once to handle smoke in one of my rentals. It is straight forward in its operation. I ran the unit for 6 hours with AC system fan circulating. Please note, apparantly ozone can damage your lungs. I posted warnings and locked the apartment. There is a timer that can be set. I waited one hour after it stopped and aired out the unit. It seemed to eliminate the smoke smell but my nose leaves a lot to desired I will give it a few more hours. I do not know how many hours of operation before the replaceable plate needs to be replaced or if the plate gives any indication. I will probably order another plate to have on hand. So far so good but the real test will be when a non smoker goes through the unit. I hope it passes muster because it sure beats cleaning/painting all the surfaces

Here's the situation I had a stove that when I turned it on the oven emitted this whole horrendous smell After further investigation it appears that mice got inside of it and destroyed the insulation We tried to replace the insulation.Upon doing that on one side we found that the mice chewed through ignitors for the gas stove. So we replaced the stove while we're waiting for the new 12 be installed I took all day saturday bleached the kitchen , clean the kitchen , bleached it and it still had an odd smell that would not dissipate Couple days before I left out vinegar, I left out baking soda.I used odor absorbing sprays that did not work And you still had a hint of whatever smell it I couldn't determine if it was the enzyme cleaner i've used on my cat message or if it was most piss For all these other things have failed and believing that I removed the source. But yet the odor still lingered , I went the nuclear option I bypassed the odor absorbing foggign. And got an Ozonr Generator. Watch the handful of reviews online, and they're a fake ozone generator Chinese built craft that don't work, this one seemed to be a little more money, but it has components and sign they can be replaced the ones that do not cost as much as they wear out.You cannot replace components inside them and you need to throw it out. As my good friend says by once cry once i'm not going to cheap out so I purchased this model I have a two story house twelve hundred fifty square feet to give or take The area beating treated was three hundred fifty square feet.. This bio means should be more than enough I purchased thick plastic stapled it and sealed it along the door frame leading to the rest of the house. Open. The windows on the other side to eliminate any ozone that may creep through and turn it on for forty minutes. From what research I had found. The recommended was fifteen to thirty minutes for a four hundred squarefoot area. Preliminary results are.I can't smell the lingering smell. Not only that it is not in the other rooms of the house that I was able to catch a wiff. At the moment , I give this five stars highly recommended Yes , it looks like a CBRN enviorment

A great household staple
While this isn't a fun topic, many of us who are in spaces previously occupied are dealing with lingering scents. I detected a mothball scent, and while it isn't at a level 10 of intensity, I want no association with 'mothball smell'. We bought this item and it seems to work very well. It definitely is not safe to use randomly; you would want to ensure you're out of the space, or that you at least block any gaps under doors while using it in an enclosed area. The scent you find after you use it is not what I can describe as pleasant; it smells a little like electrical cords being slightly overheated, and I also find an underlying scent that reminds me of wet dog. I know that sounds awful, but it does dissipate not long after. After you use this, you can try something you normally use to make your home smell great, like candles or similar. This was beyond worthwhile for us; nothing else worked: orange "severe odor" spray, mopping many times, wiping down walls with disinfectant, painting (!), airing out on tornado-like days of wind...nothing helped. Ah, and charcoal! But, I would say charcoal was slightly helpful, just ugly.

Malfunctioned after 1 use and no customer service was evident
I bought this primarily to neutralize natural household odor build up and also for after cooking. When I received it the external packaging seemed like it was a re-wrap but the interior packaging seemingly looked like it was professionally wrapped from the manufacturer. It worked like a charm the first time and was very happy. In an effort to take care of it I put it back in the box and put in the closet for future use. Ozone generators are a very effective but quite a drastic way to eliminate odors so you don't really have to use it to often. After a month or so I used it again. I set it up and expected it to turn on and I prepared to leave the house to take care of some yard work (ozone is a lung irritant so you need to vacate the area). I turned it on and the ceramic plate didn't start and it was perfectly connected to the unit. The return period elapsed so I ordered a couple of new plates thinking that may have been the issue. I put a new one in and it died after 40 minutes. I tried the second one and that one literally made a popping sound and was dead after 2 minutes. I called Odor Stop directly and the lady was quite rude from the start. I explained to her what I wrote above. She basically said that there have been some issues with wiring shorting out the plates. I could send back to them at my expense and they can see what they can do but no guarantees that it can be fixed and still wouldn't replace if it couldn't be fixed. Fortunately I bought the extended warranty from Asurion for $6 only because it was a product that I wasn't familiar with and filed the claim and got my money back. So, because of that, and the fact that it cost $60 or so (at the time before inflation, of course), I figured it wasn't worth sending to them. Fortunately, I was able to return the extra plates that I mentioned above since they were only a week old. Please do not order this or the Enerzen brand either...they are both under the same organizational umbrella. Granted, I may have just been unlucky and you may be fine but they didn't treat me right so why bother if there are other options. Order the Airthereal brand (B0795P2674). It is fantastic. I took off the top cover and looked inside and the way it was put together was much more innovate and had much better engineering in the was it was put together. Approx 6 months later it still works like a charm and I still never had to use the extra plates I ordered. It's actually a bit more powerful model and cheaper too...go figure.

Great product for cigarette smoke
I bought this new June 2023 for my hotel. Today (4/25) was the first time i had to change the plate inside. Granted, its used less than once a month on average but still works in perfect condition and gets the smell of smoke out! The ozone smell does linger unfortunately but we open up the windows (weather permitting) to help speed up the airing out process. I repurchased the smaller version of this one for our other hotel last month because we have been so happy with the results this unit produces
