These bibs are AWESOME!
My husband got me these bibs for Christmas and I LOVE THEM!Read some of the other reviews/complaints and really don't get it because these are all around perfect. As for the snaps, they're quality. Yes, they're really hard to snap the first time you snap them all but that's the way they should be! Would you really want your bibs unsnapping all over the place when you're wearing these outside in frigid temps? Once they're snapped, they're snapped! As for the fabric being "stiff," it's not but it depends on what you were expecting from CANVAS DUCK! Some people obviously don't know what the Carhartt brand is all about. As for the fabric being heavy? They're Carhartt! They're canvas duck! They're quilt lined inside! They're for winter! They're supposed to be heavy! LOL! If you don't want rugged and heavy go by some Gloria Vanderbilt bibs! Sorry but some of the complaints make zero sense.I am 5' 7", 118 lbs., 32-26-32 and the XS fits like a dream everywhere....bib, waist, hips, length(inseam) and the crotch drops perfectly! They feel like a soft mattress inside and when you wear them you feel like you can go anywhere. We spend a lot of time hiking off-trail in the woods in the winter and with these on I feel totally protected. They are TOASTY WARM and you don't have to wear leggings or a base layer underneath.I chose these particular Carhartt bibs because I LOVE the way they cinch at the waist which gives these a tad of femininity as compared to the bibs that are straight and more boxy. These allow you to enjoy the protection and freedom of movement bibs give you but still show that you have a shape underneath. If you're hesitant about getting these, don't be, they're FAB!

Tough & Warm
I'm a commercial photographer based in the Midwest and ordered these to wear on construction job sites in the winter. I do not regret spending the money whatsoever. I've worn my fair share of layers with jeans or wind breaker pants and these are serious game changers.I had an overnight 16 hr shoot with temperatures averaging around 16º and these kept me warm and comfortable the whole time. I was kneeling and laying down on concrete frequently and these did the trick. I also love that the pockets are deep and can fit multiple cell phones and all your other accessories. As far as sizing goes, I'm 5'3" about 115 pounds, 25" waist with 36" hips. I ordered the XS short. The regulars would have been crazy long! The shorts covered my boots and pooled up in a good looking not oversized way. The waist and pant legs are ample (at least 4-5" to spare in waist with layers) but that's expected for Carhartt and this isn't about fashion it's about functionality. If you're on the fence, just get them you won't regret it!

Buy a smaller size than you normally get
It took me three tries to get the right size, but I finally figured it out. I'm 5'8" and 125 pounds and I ended up with a small regular length. Started with medium tall and it was at least 6" too long and waaaay too big. So I thought I'd try a medium regular length, but I was still swimming in it and it was still too long. But the small is just perfect.I love the quality of these overalls -- pockets everywhere! There's even a zippered pocket inside the bib which would be a good place for your phone. The lining is quilted and very warm. Roomy legs so you can squat or crawl or whatever you need to do to work. The material is tough and doubled on the knees.Very pleased and so glad I finally found the right fit.

Love these overalls and wish I had ordered these sooner
I work outdoors. I am heavy and hippy at 5'2" and 240 lbs. I waited a long time to purchase these lined bib overalls because I am never sure of the sizing when ordering on line. I ordered the XXL -short and was so happy to find that they fit with room to spare in the waist and hip area. Even purchasing the short length, they are still too long by about 4 inches, but I just folded up the excess and with work boots on they were great. I wish I had order them 1 year ago. The zipper down the leg makes them super easy to put on and they kept me warm and dry outdoors.

Warm and comfortable
I purchased these overalls in a short small after reading reviews. I am 5'4 and about , 135 lbs. The web site recommend M but I went with my gut. They were hitting the floor in length which is fine. I'd rather them be too long than too short. I believe I can adjust the straps for an adjustment. They fit really well. Not too tight at all. Very flattering from the back as well. Love them.

Great fit and very warm
Love this item!! Keeps me warm during winter even in below -30. The fit is great I have a curvier body with bigger thighs and butt for reference im 170lbs, I ordered a large short and it fits great even with thick sweatpants underneath. I’m 5’1” and the short version is still a little long but nothing compared to how long the regular is. I’d recommend these, they’re durable, warm, and comfy!!

Roomy and well made
I bought a size SMALL SHORT. I am 5’4” and 120lbs (I wear jeans inseam 30”). I bought the Short ones based on others reviews, I am glad I did. They are just a little long on me but good wearing boots. The overall fit is roomy, so I can wear pants under them as well as a winter puffy coat under them. They are comfortable and well made. I love the inside pocket on the bib as it fits my phone and keeps it protected.

Sizing.
My biggest fear with these, because they are not cheap, was the size I needed. I bought a small and thank goodness I did.I am 31years old, 5ft7, about 9stone (slim) and I have a bum! The small are almost perfect. A medium would have been huge! They are a little big on the waist but that just means I can wear jumpers underneath. The crotch is roomy, there is enough room to move around, they are not at all restricting and the pants reach all the way to the floor. If you are a similar build and weight to me get a small! They are super warm, quite heavy but again they are insulated so they are warm warm warm. I bought the black for work, they are smart. So worth the money.Hope this review helps you in deciding :)

Im in love.
You can tell that it's made to last long. Its heavy but once worn, it doesnt feel as heavy as it is. It's warm and comfortable. The length and waste size fits perfectly but the bust size is bigger (i guess to accommodate lucky big chests). I want to buy the other colour. Cant wait to wear it for snowshoeing and/or spring snowboarding. Its not waterproof but will wear when its not rain-couver!
