The Sony USB is the best USB I have used. It works with every computer and laptop no matter whether its Windows or Mac. I has never had a virus on it. Neither has it got viruses or completely wiped all data off after unplugging it without ejecting it first which seems to happen alot with SanDisk ones. The colour makes it easy to find and although it made out of plastic it's very durable. It hasn't cracked in the caseing or the cover for the USB which is really good as all previous USBs I have used cracked after a while. Overall this product is very good and reliable.

Bought to use with Sony blue ray player - my experience with other Sony products is that you can have challenges using non-Sony memory cards etc. have transferred a whole load of DVDs which I have converted into mp4 files onto this memory card for playing through the Sony Blueray USB port. Works fantastically well, very fast to copy music and movies, very compact and robust enough to survive handling by the children. So good in fact I ordered another ! Fantastic price for the size too.

I have grown to like this USB drive, it is probably the slider button on the side that helps. Others that I have bought in the past usually have a cap to protect the end with the connection, if you are anything like me, then you will soon knock that down and have to search for it. This item does away with that problem by simply retracting back into the housing, and to top that, the item isn't to fat and fits close to other plug in's.

Was getting married and needed to transfer images and music files from my PC to my DJ's computer etc...it's what it says and so far reliable... I'm told. not expensive so I gave it to my DJ as a gift. All the music I wanted to play on the day and he get's to keep the stick. Cheap DJ or what! lol... he says it still works perfectly and the slide is better than having and loosing a lid.

Great product and design very smart and great build quality, Very fast at transferring data. I use this daily for music, I have hi res audio tracks stored on to this USB stick, which are played on a dj deck, there is no buffering or dropouts when using dj effects like scratching. I would recommend this just for the design and reliability.

I purchased this for someone who wants her USB drive to look smart and carry a good brand! Although I would choose a better priced and less well known brand for myself, I have to agree about the quality finish of the Sony and also agree that it looks much more presentable than others.In terms of capacity, speed and reliability, I haven't tested it in detail because it isn't mine. I would say that it is faster than my own Kingston USB drives, although they are a little older, and so far there have been no reports of reliability problems. PC and laptop detect and eject it without any complaints, otherwise I would have been shouted at by now!!

Brilliant - designed well, tiny, fast, and is really robust. These are great devices for transferring files between PCs and mobile devices or just for additional mobile storage, and Sony have made a good one.

Sony MicroVault X USB 3.0 8 GBWell built. Nice looking=3 stars. SuperSlow -2 stars. In fact slower than most other USB 2.0 sticks.I admit the read speed is OK at 30MB/s (if used in USB2 port) and 125MB/s (if used in USB 3.0 port). The important WRITE speed is appalling: 3.2MB/s (if used in USB2 port) and 5.5MB/s (if used in USB 3.0 port).It is good to use as a DVD-put some data on it but don't change it, just use it: e.g like Windows Installation Files.
