Hard transition but worth it
This may be a long post but it has to be to do justice to the product.I have stick straight, super fine long hair. And I have a lot of it. Even though it's fine, it is really thick. I also have allergies to sulfates and most fragrances. Finding traditional shampoo is a pain. I did find one that works for me (A'kin gentle shampoo). I love it but I have to order it from the UK and it can take awhile to ship. So I decided to try shampoo bars since they tend to be more natural and gentle. I figured a variety pack would be best so I could experiment without spending a ton of money. I'm only on day 3 so I may have to update later.Day 1- I used the voodoo black bar, the conditioning bar, and the rinse. I was disappointed. My hair looked greasy and flat. But I had read there was a transition period and didn't give up.Day 2- I used the rosemary and mint bar and the apple cider rinse. While wet my hair felt gross and I was upset. But when my hair dried it looked better. Not greasy but still flat.Day 3- I decided to try the beer bar and rinse. My hair is not greasy at all and has a bit more volume than normal. Needless to say but I'm happier now.My conclusion: My hair just isn't suited for the conditioning bar. It smell lovely but I just don't have enough texture in my hair for that much oil. Once I figured out a good technique the shampoo is great and I love the rinse.Update: I'm now a week in and my hair already feels thicker. I'm not washing it every day. I haven't washed my hair since Saturday (today is monday) and it still looks and feels clean.

Nice sample pack, typical results for solid shampoos.
I've tried one bar so far, and the results are typical for a solid shampoo bar with conditioning oils. If you are used to using solid shampoo then you will be pleased. I use apple-cider vinegar rinse after shampooing to remove any residue and make my hair shiny and easy to comb. The sample sizes are approximately 1/4 - 1/3 of an inch thick and I quite a few shampoos out of a bar even with thick below shoulder length hair.I cannot review the scents because I have no sense of smell but nobody ran away from me holding their noses or sneezing violently.

Hard water possibly interferes with functionality?
I ordered the sample box. This was my first attempt at using a bar shampoo. I am two days and two shampoos in to using this product- and am done. Perhaps it is the hard water in my home? My hair looks, feels and smells like I haven’t washed it in two weeks. Grimey. I’m not giving this product a low review, as I’m sure it works for many people- but I would really caution anyone with hard water at home to reconsider. (The unopened beer bottle in the photos is for scale)

I enjoyed, using your bar shampoo
I enjoyed, using your bar shampoo. They truly made my hair healthy. It has began growing also. I need to get more, next month.💰

Love the simplicity of a shampoo bar.
I wanted to wait a full month before I left my review. It has been 4 weeks now and this is a keeper. I have been using WEN for a couple of years and wanted something a little cheaper and more travel friendly. ( I was satisfied with WEN and had no problems) I had never heard of shampoo bars so I did some research and decided to try Beauty and the Bees. From the first day I was pleased. I don't think I went through a transition phase, per se, but I did notice that after about 2 weeks my hair looked better than when I first started using the product. Even though I use Moroccan oil, I have not had to use the vinegar rinse. Nor do I use conditioner. I have not had any type of build up or residue. Furthermore, I have noticed that my hair takes less time to dry and it has more texture. As I said, I'm in my 4th week and I am only on my second sample bar, so they last a long time. ( I wash my hair about 5 days a week) When this runs out, I will buy a full size bar, probably the rosemary mint since that is my favorite scent.

Best natural shampoo line I've tried
My kit came with 5 shampoo bars, apple cider vinegar (didn't like, left my hair waxy), real beer ( loved, good lather), rosemary & mint ( loved), yogurt & lemon ( didn't like) and goats milk ( liked, good lather). The condition ing bar leaves my hair oily so that's good to use once in a while when my hair is feeling dry. The clarifying rinse is awesome. I have med-long fine straight hair that is died with henna. I've been chemical free for 3 years and this kit is perfect to find the right bar for your hair type. I'm ordering kit2 now to try the rest of the flavors.

Quality Body Care for an affordable price
At first I thought a mistake had been made like one reviewer mentioned:I got a box advertising a sample but it looked like I got a single bar of soap(I was expecting the bag I saw advertised). I opened the box and instead of one bar I see six soap samples. I got all the flavors mentioned, except the natural was switched for a lemon egg flavor, which is fine;my fiance volunteered to try it along with the beer shampoo. I have only tried one flavor so far and washed my hair w/it twice; lemon chamomile. I know chamomile is great for hair, so I tried that one first. It just smells heavenly and lively. I keep forgetting it's shampoo and want to wash my bod w/it. It's ok if you do because it's so natural and creates amazing lather. This is the 4th item I have chosen from Beauty/Bees and the 2nd shampoo. I tried some voodoo earlier and we still have some of that left. I cut the voodoo bar in half and gave a piece to fiance to place in his shower. He put it on the built in soap dish and w/subsequent showers it has warped the soap a bit and made black drippy stains run down the side so that it looks like something creepy is growing in his shower. For the people out there who don't know about hand made soap-please keep it in a soap dish that drains and away from shower spray.

Waxy and Gross
These all left my hair feeling super waxy. I used all of the shampoos except the grass one. After a week's worth of washes, my hair started feeling gross and waxy with every shampoo. I gave each individual shampoo a week, and they were all the same, ineffective and waxy. The conditioner is alright, nothing special. I hated the apple cider rinse, my hair felt disgusting and dirty after using it. Overall, very disappointed. I'm having better luck with an all-in-one bar soap, which I've been using for two weeks consistently without feeling waxy at all, even without a special rinse or conditioner. Since I've had success with other products, I can only deduce that it's your brand, not all bar shampoos, that I have issues with.
