Yes I would say they run a little big so: sm-8-10 M-12-14 L-16-18 Xl-20

Q: What size fits a 5 1/2 year old boy that is 45 inches tall?

Mine is a 7 year old average height boy, on the slim side though. The small size is a little too big, especially too loose. Can't imagine a 5 year old fitting in these shirts yet.
