Lived in New Orleans and this is THE BEST book for local recipes! Kit Wohl sure knows how to write cookbooks!!!

This is a great book! I love the fact it's less than 100 pages. It contains great recipes and instructions (like how to make a roux, including a "color-wheel" or roux colors. Great book!

gave this as a gift to my niece who now resides in Conn. She misses the classics from her Louisiana home . Now she can prepare her favorites.
