Nonverbal Communication: Science and Applications

I enjoyed reading this book so much, that I reread it two more times.And each time underlining, highlighting, and writing notes in the margins. There is so much useful information, that I filled an entire notebook with quotes from this book.If you are a serious learner of body language and non-verbal communication, this book will be very useful to you. I highly recommend it!

Bought this for my son as a gift. He just graduated with his psyc degree and is going into law enforcement. You know it's a great book when you child ask for text book as a gift after they've graduated and they carry it with them for weeks reading every detail in it. He said what he's read will help him greatly in law enforcement and it will be a good reference guide for years to come.

Professional or upper level undergraduate book. Very nicely done.

Was not heavily focused on body movements as other books I have read but still a good read.

All three were able to create a much needed addition to microexpression training that has a sizable quantity of references.From the first pages, I immediately felt that I was holding a great reference for non-verbal communication, carefully written by experts who know what they are talking about.The first part of the book is written by the three previously mentioned authors, in collaboration with other professionals and colleagues and each chapter is documented, with clear and precise references, which makes it easy to follow up on studies and current research in the field.The second part presents an implementation of the concepts discussed in the first part. The authors are professionals who explain how they use their knowledge of nonverbal communication on a daily basis. For this price, I was expecting a properly printed book by the publisher. When you buy from Amazon directly they print it themselves and it gives the impression of holding something with low quality. Especially in this price range they should have done better. I feel tricked.

Excellent ouvrage collectif sur la communication non verbale et ses applications. Il s'agit là du livre le plus récent sur le sujet accessible au grand public et surtout argumenté au regard des dernières recherches scientifiques sur le sujet.
