Elila womens Longline

I've got to say, it does encourage good posture (which really brings out the best in any body). The industrial-strength elastic over the shoulder blades opens up the chest and pulls down the shoulders to actually promote deeper breathing, counterintuitively enough. Also (maybe by accident) it encourages the ribcage to stay lifted straight up away from the pelvis, because if you let you torso collapse you can get poked by the ends of the boning, which gets uncomfortable.Overall, it noticeably improved my silhouette in clingy clothes!! BUT the closures do make noticeable bumps under a thin, smooth, solid-color knit. You'd almost need a stripe of buckram or stiff interfacing In between the bra and the dress to smooth that out.I read the reviews and purposely ordered 4" bigger band size than I usually take (would've ordered bigger cup too but I appear to be pegged in the redline for this product). I still had a big struggle to put it on the first day! But after that I was able to wear it all day, even with my subterranean pain threshold. It also broke in over a few days of wear. It's a shame we have to decide whether or not to return it BEFORE breaking it in, because it takes prior experience with civil-engineered shape-wear to even realize that it stretches out some in the short term. Heavy duty girdles and stuff went out of style for 2 generations so a lot of lore got lost.

After measuring this bra above my non padded non wired bra my conclusion was:1) the quality of the bra is good. (Didn't washed it yet)2) I've ordered 1 size up as recommended by other consumers so it fits just right around breast area3) if you have zero body fat.... will look great on you, but if you don't... the bra will push the access padding down to your hips. Try shirt over seems to cover.3.1) you can leave the bottom hooks open to allow more movement for your body.4) I was able to stend strength and really helping to support the ladies.5) Personally received previously tried-on item. The tag attached to the top was folded and bent and I didn't do it :(. I can't return this item because the tag says black on white: "we do not except the item back if this tag is removed or folded".

Love the product but both times I ordered I received black when I ordered nude. Can't seem to fill order correctly frustrating to say the least

beautiful bra, However- it runs big on the cup. I'm disappointed it didnt fit. I wish I should make the cup smaller, because it is such a beautiful form-fitting bra, very high quality. I ordered a 38C and the torso was a little tight, but manageable. The deal killer was that the cup was too big. I'm a C cup and I would've needed a B cup.

I was looking for a 1950’s longline bra, to wear under same era clothes. This was recommended and the only little problem, was that friends advised buying much larger band and cup size than usual. I ordered 3 sizes up from my usual band size , although I could have ordered just 2 sizes up if they had had the stock in, but they did not. I ordered a size up from my usual cup size and this was fine, in this type of unwired bra.I really liked the longline, unwired shape, as it was not only comfortable, but it gave me the desired 1950’s shape that I needed for my 1950’s garments. The longline shape is great for defining the torso, and waist and there is no need for under wires , which I hate, because they dig in and hurt my ribs. This form, unfortunately, has been discontinued by Elila, which is a pity, as it is much easier to do up at the front ( front hooks and eyes) than at the back (I can’t reach around to do up so many hooks and eyes and have no-one to do them up for me when I get dressed in the morning).I wish that Elila would start this line of bras again, as I would like to purchase more, and in flesh colours, and white (I have the black), although a white camisole over the black, helps to conceal the colour a bit.I know that there are other companies (wkd) that specialise in 1950’s lingerie, but often not for girls who are wanting this sort of product, or size. Not sure if any other European companies provide Amazon uk with similar lines to Elila.

First clasp get always undone after you have forgotten you have a bra on. Fits very well with a great lift.

Please think carefully when ordering this item, as if you decide the fit is not suitable for you it will cost you almost 50 pounds to return! .... Please Note ... the postage is only refunded if you have had to return the item due to the sellers error! Costing you almost as much as the item it’s self and not worth the cost of the return!The item arrived extremely promptly and although the item was true to size it didn’t suit my form, also on trying, straight away I felt that it would rub and become uncomfortable after waring for any length of time.

It's a lovely garment but not true to size.
