If you do not need it for your school or exam, don't buy it, ACI318-14 is changed drastically. Mostly 2011 edition is same as 318-08, and 318-05. Maybe big difference is for Appendix D compare with the older versions.

I want to give it a 1 star review due to the dryness of the material, but if you need to read an amazon review to decide if you want to buy this book, you shouldn't be buying it. We (engineers) only buy it because they make us.

it's the 2011 ACI Concrete code. If you're designing anything in concrete under the 2012 building code, this book is a requirement. Very little of the information is repeated in the IBC anymore, so buying the referenced standards is basically a requirement now.

Well. It's necessary. I was able to get it for a better price than through ACI. So I'm happy. I don't know if anyone LOVES how this code is organized, but it has all the info I need!

Best price we could find. Much better than buying directly from ACI or any other source. If you have to buy all new code reference books every time the code changes - you appreciate the savings.
