Initially thought the belt was missing. several reviewers made same comment. However, after tinkering with the product, realized that the belt was attached to the bottom of the turntable and simply needed to be stretched to go around the spindle. That said -- there are NO instructions in the manual to assist with setting this up.Once we got it up and running, it works fine. Seems to produce good sound, but hard to tell since we tested it with a small inexpensive BT speaker. We'll upgrade soon and see how it sounds.EDITED to upgrade to 4 stars. Husband loves this, and customer service was good enough to contact me and apologize for lack of clarity in set up instructions. They indicated they'd be changing them -- or at least I think that's the gist of the email. It was apparently written by someone for whom English is not their first language so some of the message was a little confusing. I do appreciate that they reached out, though!

Update #2: I took the needle off the record player and separated it from the black bracket and was able to match the needle online. I found this replacement, which looks like it's a match. Will purchase name brand from now on, so I can get replacement parts, if needed.Original post:Purchased this for my daughter who's into music and loving the old school vinyl records. Set up was easy, although they could do a better job in the instructions on how to balance the arm. There are a couple ok You Tube videos, which help, but they're not great. Quality appears to be good and the sound is clean. I purchased this higher end player because I wanted a good listening experience for my daughter vs. the cheap retro looking players that are around $100. Overall, pleased with the purchase, only thing that prevented me from giving it a 5, is that it doesn't have a solid cover. It does come with a cloth cover, but it would have been better (IMHO) if it had a plastic cover the lifted up and prevented dust from getting on the player. Hope this helps.

Not the easiest to connect to the Bluetooth speakers and instructions aren't the clearest but if you're tech savvy you should be fine.

This is a quality turn table. We hooked it up to a JBL bluetooth speaker and the sound quality is awesome. It was fairly easy to assemble as well. The instruction manual tells you everything except how to attach the belt to the belt motor, which is fairly easy to figure out. It's worth more than $200, easily a $400 turn table.

After a frustrating hour or two when i was certain the belt was not included in the box i finally found it. Two other people noted the same problem. Taking a star away since the instructions had NOTHING to indicate that was where the belt was. Two other people today alone - poor instructions. Turntable though is fully adjustable and appears to be a good product.

Excellent marketing on this product, however the product is not a quality experience. From taking it out of the box and setting it up, the belt was missing, therefore it doesn't work. Disappointing.

Ilove this turntable - I restored an old turntable cabinet and added new speakers. The sound is amazing and the quality of the turntable is much better than the "vintage" ones they are selling right now. Highly recommend!

This turntable is easy to use and the sound quality is remarkable. I highly recommend it.
