I know a lot of people online claim that Duranaut is the better option, but trust me—real-world experience tells a totally different story. If you are repasting a laptop, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is the clear winner. In fact, if you take the time to apply it correctly, you can sometimes get temperature drops and performance that rival liquid metal. The secret is entirely in the application method: you must manually spread a very thin, even layer that completely covers the entire surface of both the CPU and GPU dies. Don't just do the "pea-size" drop and rely on mounting pressure. Take your time, apply that thin layer edge-to-edge so there are no bare spots, and you'll see incredible thermal improvements. Highly recommended for any gaming laptop!

Edit: after few days the temps got high again, I've applied the paste multiple times, but it doesn't work, I've requested for replacement but no replacement nas been done and the false replacement claims are being made, idk how I used to get 90-95 degree Celsius on my CPU when playing last of Us part 1 on my hp pavilion gaming laptop, after using some cheap thermal paste, I realized it's no use, the temps were exactly the same, so I've decided to get this since I've seen a yt short saying this is the popular thermal paste and decided to buy this My temps went from 90-95 before to 80-87 Degree Celsius while gaming (after applying this thermal paste) the only problem is that it's a little overpriced for it's quantity I had to apply the thermal paste twice because I messed up the first time, but quantity was already 50% completed lol I think we can use this twice or three times with the given quantity (Keep in mind I'm on a laptop, which requires less quantity than Desktop) Things to consider * Before removing the heat sink of the laptop, disconnect the battery * Take a picture of where the thermal pastes are applied, so that you can apply at the same places after cleaning the old one * Use a clean lint free cloth to clean the old thermal paste and also use isopropyl alcohol on the cloth and rub off the old paste * You can also use low percentage of isopropyl alcohol but will have to wait for it to dry off (I used 70% one, and no problems occurred) * Use the drop method, where you apply peanut sized drop on the CPU and GPU and you place the heatsink on top of it, with a straight angle, it will spread itself evenly if kept right Highly recommend this paste as it's one time solution, and I've heard we don't need to change the paste for another 2 years, The only thing is the quantity they send you is soo tiny amount lol

excellent I accidently used local cheap thermal paste for the cpu of my loq laptop and the temps went crazy (like above 100⁰) after applying kryonaut my cpu is in peace at below 80⁰C temps and it's very stable very good product although it is expensive too

Fair quality thermal paste. Paste is very good at spreading evenly with X, dot patterns after placing cooler. Brought down my CPU temp by ~8degrees. But quantity is very less compared to other available options at this price.Could have been a little more.

Used it to re-paste on a 7 year old gaming laptop. The i5-8300H would reach 96-98° within 5 minutes of certain games. Post re-paste, the temps max out at 85-88° post 1 hour of gaming. Also noticed that in idle, temperature drop is much quicker now. Seems to do the job well. Provided applicator was useful and verification code checked out as genuine product. Ich habe sie für meine CPU verwendet und konnte direkt spürbar niedrigere Temperaturen feststellen – sowohl im Idle als auch unter Last. Die Konsistenz ist sehr angenehm: nicht zu flüssig, nicht zu zäh, lässt sich sauber und gleichmäßig auftragen. Mit der 1-Gramm-Spritze kommt man für mehrere Anwendungen aus, je nachdem wie sparsam man arbeitet. Besonders für anspruchsvolle Systeme, Gaming-PCs oder Overclocking absolut empfehlenswert. Great product overall, temps dropped straight away by 7-10c on idle 13700k with 240mm aio 40c, forza 6 maxed 4K native 65c - 67c with nzxt h7 and few noctua case fans. As a tip would definetely try to warm the paste first and the included spatula wasnt that great for application as this particular one is quite thick and tacky compared to others. Should do for next 18-24months.

Great thermal paste with really solid performance — dropped my CPU temps by a few degrees straight away compared to the stock paste. It’s easy to apply, has a nice smooth consistency, and feels high quality. Definitely good if you care about keeping temps low or running a more powerful setup. Only downside is it’s a bit pricey and might not last quite as long as some cheaper pastes under heavy use, but overall it does exactly what you’d expect and works really well.
