The Norton Anthology of English Literature - Vol C: The Restoration and the Eighteens Century

Really helpful for English at university
This has really helped me with the Victorian/ modernism modules at university. Although it was expensive, it has saved me from having to buy multiple books/ having to scan through multiple articles online to find sources. Everything is in one place! Definitely recommend & I got a second hand one which was as good as new :)

Agree it's like a Bible ... Literature Bible
This anthology is thick and weighty. The cover is a regular paperback and may not be robust enough. The pages are made from very thin paper like a Bible. The text font size is good. There are a few illustrations. The book lays open on it's own (a few pages in) which is good.Bought as a core book for an online short course.

Bible!
Excellent book for University. I have been able to annotate almost full pages in pencil without grinning through. Highly Recommended!

Excellent contextual notes
Contains several texts I needed for my course. The beauty of this edition is the quality of the contextual information, footnotes (which are on the same page, as they should be), and the sheer number of authors it contains. If you want to understand the Renaissance literary period as a whole, there is no better single book than this.

Remarkably similar to previous edition
Had to buy this book for uni, no variation in price to other sellers but prime was the incentive
