The Babylonian Talmud: Translated into English for the First Time, with Introduction, Commentary, Glossary and Indices

I tried, I really tried to love it as I sampled few places and it is really well written and sourced. Every statement has a source right by it. That is a bit annoying but you learn to skip it and move from theessence to the essence, yet it is still sourced in case you or others need it.The problem is the print size. I am not sure why it is so painfully small, perhaps this is the necessityas this is a 500 page book as is so double the print size, double the volume size.I decided to seek further because of the print size thoug. It is probably a little bigger then a fine printyou normally find on products or adds, I never read those to begin with or end , thereforeI think that for the sake of people like myself the editor could perhaps offer larger print,I would not mind entirely if it came in two or even three volumes if it had a printthat anyone could read without glasses or with very low magnification reading glassesthat most people use.Otherwise again, the contact is what the content is .. good.

It is a good representation of the Babylonian Talmud, however BEWARE! This is only the First Order, First Tractate (Berakhot). DO NOT expect to find the whole Talmud as I did, this is only a tiny fraction of the entire thing.
