durable for sure
This is one of the best travel bags made. both urban, world travel and backwoods I've taken this gem of a bag everywhere. Its spacious with plenty of little secret pockets and a sturdily made. I'm going on 3 years with this bag and it just wont quit. no frayed stitching, no busted zippers and the color is still bright even though I never washed it. I can fit enough clothes for a three day tropical vacation with all the accessories tucked safely away in the side and internal pockets. don't sleep on the Oakley brand. i never even heard of it until I came to Amazon but the unique designs and the high quality makes it the bag to have. I'm serious.... its really a great bag.

More Room
So I am a paramedic for a private ambulance company where I am in a ambulance for several hours. My old 5.11 bag was starting to show it age and was bulky for the small area that is given. I decided to downsize and wanted to switch to a Oakley bag. I can fit a extra pair of boots, extra clothing, and just the truly essential items I need for a 12 shift. I am very happy with this bag and what it can hold.

Oakley improving their profit margins by streamlining quality
Mostly quality materials but this is my second Oakley and I gave my last one 10 years of hard use before it gave out. This one has good design features and engineering but isnโt the same quality. The โNaugahyde exterior side pouches were disappointing

Know what you are buying!
I bought this for travel, to carry personals, and electronics, and maybe the odd rain jacket or fleece. My Impressions, it is sturdily built, the top flap is gusseted so it will cinch down snug and keep weather out. It is sewn extremely well and my overall impression is STOUT!.in what may turn out to be negative , there is a PVC or Vinyl, used liberally on this pack, although it is backed by the cordura, I wonder about exposure to elements, freezing and cracking or UV light breaking it down. I must say, that this makes what is otherwise a 5 star piece of equipment in my mind a 3 star, I hope I do not regret my investment.

My favorite backpack.
I bought this for a replacement/upgrade to my current backpack for the gym.I use a backpack everyday. Both for work and the gym. This HAS ENOUGH space for ALL of my gym gear. Plus work uniform. Still somehow NOT too bulky. And comfortable. Fits my wide shoulders, well. I only wish, that the top pocket on the very top pocket was a little bit deeper. And had a mesh zipper pocket in the main compartment underneath the main flap. But... still fantastic! Very fantastic. And for half the price of the regular ridiculous, ludicrous price that Oakley backpacks go for on the market.

DURABLE!!!
Bought two of these for my teenaged sons' school backpacks. Jansport, LL Bean, and Swiss Gear packs have not made it past one semester previously. These packs have survived UNSCATHED to Spring Break and show no signs of giving up anytime soon. SCORE. No fraying, no tears, no "something doesn't work anymore". These packs are beyond durable. My Sophomore's weighs almost 50# loaded. Would buy again in a heartbeat, but it doesn't look like I'll have to! Only complaint is like another reviewer mentioned---the top opening/mouth of the pack could be a bit larger, esp. for binders, but that is easily overlooked in favor of toughness. Thanks, Oakley.

Great backpack
Backpack is great and has tons of pockets. I saw others say it doesn't fit/hold a laptop. There is a very large laptop zipper on the back/side of the backpack. It was great for our Disney trip.

Well constructed
This is a very nice, well built bag. I was hoping for a bit more organized outside pockets. I recently used it as my carry on for international travel. It had a nice soft pocket for my shades and phone right on top. The inside pocket has a spot for a magazine and a tablet or pc. Side pockets for water bottles are nice and it has a front pocket that I wish was bigger and had some more organization. I think it will hold up well.

First impressions are very good !
I commute by motorbike so a backpack needs to be tough, it has to be able to carry my lunch, drinks bottle, shoes, waterproofs and a lock and also have space to pick up shopping on the way home without being too bulky.Cheap backpacks last less than a year before either the zip goes or strap falls off so I'm constantly looking for a better one. This does not rely on a zip to close the main compartment which is a main part of the structure of other backpacks, it has large pinch clips which is a much better design strength wise and far less likely to fail due to heavy loads. It is also easier to open with gloves on.The chest strap is removable so that's a bonus and easy to re-fit if needed and there is a large zip on the side to allow access to a pocket that is the full height and width of the back. It will easily take A4 size folders and has some padding so would take a laptop although there is no structural support so not ideal if you have heavy items in the main compartment.I was impressed that I was able to lay 2 x 2Ltr water bottles down across the bottom side by side, I would normally stand them vertical but this is wider than most backpacks, this means I can get lots of shopping in it and it's very comfortable to carry. e.g. 2 large bottles of water, 4 cans of beer, a takeaway plus my office shoes !The main gripes are the top flap is a bit annoying due to it's cup shaped design, it's not easy to get it out of the way when loading stuff in (the pic shows the flap turned almost inside out) and the when you pull the straps down to tighten the shoulder straps you have very long loose ends that tend to flap around in the wind but a couple of velcro ties (or weights) will prevent this. Also the drinks bottle nets are a bit small and flimsy, I expect them to fail early but I could be wrong.Seems a bit pricey but the quality is easily twice as good as cheaper ones that fall apart quickly. Time will tell so will update this review if there are any developments.

It's pretty great
It's not as massive on your back as I thought it would be, but you sure can pack a great deal in there!I'm disappointed with some of the stitching, lots of loose ends and the flexi-plastic used in certain areas looks alright but feels a little cheap. The pockets are good sizes, I'm a big fan of the massive laptop sleeve in the side. Also the top goggle pouch is pretty great. It appears sturdy, despite the loose threads, and it is comfortable to wear. For some reason I thought there was a waist belt, but maybe that's on another Oakley bag I was looking at...Zips are ok, seem pretty positive, though sometimes you need to be directly on the side pockets for them to move smoothly. Clips are all good and solid.I'm pretty happy with it overall, every day use and no real complaints!Update: used it nearly every day since I bought it. The few uneven stitching isn't noticed, the bag is solid as ever.No marks, dings or holes, it looks like I've just bought it.Pretty great. Up a star for longevity!
