Just arrived and opened today. Will be installing soon. Arrived in two days. Good quality paint finish and the holes line up with the winch. All the parts and pieces seem to be intact and instructions look way too simple. I will be mounting an HF Apex Badlands 12k Nylon winch in the bumper of a 2023 Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon. Will post updates and fotos. Install wad almost flawless. The mounting holes for the win h didn't exactly line up for the rear holes and I had to sl8ghtly modify. Adding heavy duty stainless steel washers for the 4 bolts bit otherwise, worked perfect with 12klbs Apex Badlands Synth Winch, on 2023 Wrangler Rubicon.

Well, it's a winch mount for the JL, JLU, and JT. That's out of the way... I ordered it with intent of possible modifying the OEM bumper that came on my Gladiator to mount the winch lower. I ordered a bumper on Amazon right after I bought it for two reasons better front end protection and for a winch. The winch has been used many times in 5 years, but it restricts air flow. So now my driving situation has changed some. Now with the winch plate it appears to be fair quality no blemishes in finish has the required hardware to install, best price I found. I have some concern with the welds on it or lack of. But the main concerning ones should be in compression when loaded, the lower supporting braces are not fully welded or at the cuts to form front lip back side. The thickness of the metal isn't as much as I would like but at least as thickness as the bumper mount I currently have. After pulling out my OEM bumper I started having second thoughts on doing that. So I looked into other option bumpers of course the one I like best now includes the winch mount with it. All is not lost yet on it, if I modify the factory one I still need it along with more metal. Plus I would like to mount a rear winch on it too. So this is not meant to be a bad review as it's still unused but my initial thoughts about it.

Lowest price option I found to mount a winch in the rubicon steel bumper. I dont know why the other brands are so over engineered and 3 times the money. This one fits right in place and is plenty strong. The way it mounts behind the bumper/frame horn means its going to rip your frame in half before this mount or any bolts ever give. 100% recommend. It’s definitely worth the money. It’s pretty easy to install. There’s not a lot of reviews about it. So I took pictures. nice build quality. And fit perfectly.

Mounting plate was a 1/4" too short on width and had to redrill holes moving winch over to fit.

Worked great. Heavy-duty metal. Bolts right on.

I purchased this for my 2025 Gladiator. The directions weren't the best, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Install was nice.

Worked really well and was easy to install

The plate is strong. The mounting holes are both good and bad. The front ones fit nicely under the bumper. The back ones are more of a slot type but don't exactly fit very good. I had to shim with washer but not the greatest solution as the frame is not level where the washers went. I liked the idea of keeping the stock bumper but I think I would look for a different option if I had to do it again.
