Awsome really worked!
I bough this thinking it was bad because all of the reviews I rread and it fit perfect on my trombone it was very snug but I see where people come from saying that it does slide and scratch you laquer but this will only happen if you a small bore trombone see I have a Bach Stradivarius tenor f attachment open wrap and it a large bore so the slide is a little bigger hope this helps

Don't Bother
It is generally not regarded as a good idea to add weight to your slide. However, these barely weigh anything. For me, their biggest discouragement to use was in the fact that I used them on my marching horn and if it rained, water could work its way underneath the ends of these and I'd have to remove them to dry, which was a pain. I ultimately decided to leave these off.

alright for practice instruments
Good for outside defense on slide but at the cost of scratching the slide outer surface.

Just what I expected.
These are simply some plastic tubes that are split to fit over your slide. I use them all the time on my horn as I often play in high traffic environments and in outdoor situations. They add a noticable amount of weight to the outer slide, but I find the protection worth it.

Very nice, I cut them down for neck-piece cover too ...
Very nice, I cut them down for neck-piece cover too (cheaper than buying those pre-made.) Easy to spraypaint other colors in case you want to color-code your horns to keep track of what bell is with what slide ATM!

Half Way Job
These do exactly what they're intended for: to save your slide from dents. What isn't mentioned; though, is the fact that they will not stay put on your horn, instead, they will scratch the finish on the slide. The $4 plastic tubes eventually will make a $600 slide look like a horn that has been through 8+ years rough of marching band. However, this is perfect for marching band trombone slides.
