This is a well constructed hand rail. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Installation kit included almost everything you need except for glue ( used to keep the handrail from turning in your hand when you grasp it. I used construction adhesive) and one metric Allen wrench. They supply 2 Allen wrenches but a 3rd one is required in a different size than the 2 in the kit. From my experience I wouldn't use the plastic wall anchors unless you have no other choice. Try and screw the floor plate into wood or concrete and the top plate into solid wood. Plastic anchors just will not hold up over time with any type handrail. I would definitely buy this again.

Wow this is a heavy piece of gear. I was not expecting it to be this high quality, but am pleasantly surprised. It is exceptionally heavy duty and very well waited with thick gauge steel that seems like it would hold up to an industrial grade material check for sure. I wanted stainless steel because of its weather resistance as well as how easy it is to clean. But now that I have it, I can see that it makes a world of difference on quality of structural support as well. There is no doubt this is not at least twice as sturdy and resilient as my other metal handrail on the back door of the storage building. I will now have to replace that one, because the safety difference does matter to me and the liability of my organization is worth the investment. These also just look incredibly professional and will hold up to patrons that are higher weight or may have to put more weight on this due to being disabled or something like that. I definitely value peace of mind of the board members as well as the safety of our volunteers and this still fits well within our budget. Assembling this was a breeze. But I did need a second pair of hands just because of the heftiness of the material and the angle I wanted to mount it. But once it's in place with the right type of anchors then it shouldn't need adjustment or really much maintenance at all for a very long time. It definitely seems quality enough to withstand outdoor conditions for a very long time without needing to intervene on it. It came with some mounting materials, but depending on what type of steps or ground surface you are attaching it to, and what type of wall material or post material you are attaching it to, you can certainly change that out and just make sure whatever you use has the weight rating comparable to the amount that these rails themselves have so that you don't have an obvious weak point after assembly.
