One month in, working well
Given the price of the bulb and some of the negative comments wasn't sure what to expect. At a bit over a month of running, the heat output is good and no self-thermal shutdowns, no low level buzz I've gotten from other lamps. If it works through 6 months, it will be a great value.

Not bad for the money
The 15 minutes safety shut off is a little irritating- but I get it. Takes a few minutes to heat up when you turn it on, but that is to be expected. Overall, so far a good value. I will follow up on longevity.

Works good, better than powersun
Better than powersun, but i think megaray is still better. But this is still a great brand bulb, my savannah monitor likes it better than the powersun and seems to respond better to it. Ive bought a few items from this new and upcoming reptile brand and will continue to do so, they seem to really care about the quality of their products. If they ever want to send me any items to review id be more than happy to.

HOT then dead
This thing really pumped out the heat and light. Too much I guess.. When it was working, it was amazing! Kept it about 6 inches above my tank, and it still had my basking area around 96f. Now, after 17 days, the bulb has burned up. I'm not sure if I had a faulty one, but the base I'm using is rated up to 200w, so it's definitely not that. I'm extremely disappointed in this product, as I ended up having to run to the pet store an hour away to get a replacement so my turtle didn't die. I read the reviews and bought anyway, thinking that people didn't have a base with a high enough wattage, as most are only rated to 150w. Even with an appropriate base, this product has failure written all over it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Good for price
I’m not sure if this bulb makes enough heat for my tortoise but this is my first time using this kind of bulb. It’s def fine for a small aquarium. I have it "shining" over a mini pool with a clip lamp for a baby CA desert tortoise.
