I like it just don’t like how it doesn’t lock in to the compact holster that comes with the cl. Sticks out to far so it doesn’t seat all the way. Other than that love it

This cap fit securely my Byrna SD and is much more convenient when changing out CO2 cartridges. It appears as operates as a well made quality part. I think for the money it is a worthwhile upgrade.

Bottom line: This Fast Cap adapter makes swapping CO2 cartridges on the Byrna CL quick and tool-free, replacing the stock hex-key design. The deep finger grooves provide excellent aggressive grip for better handling with gloves or wet hands. The only issue is that the built-in magazine tool doesn’t seems to fit. I am typically a keep it with the OEM person - however, I wanted to give this one a try because it was a bit different. I love the idea of being able to change the cartridge a lot quicker than having to use a tool so I took a chance on this aftermarket version. What a find!! We have two launchers - and we have an adapter from the OEM so I can make a direct comparison. This aftermarket version: 1. Threads better. 2. Is not as long so it does not stick out as long as the OEM version. 3. Feels like it is a better quality. It goes right on and it as easy to use as possible. Given it is the same price as the OEM, works better and is readily available - this is a great value for the money. Do not wait - buy yours now!

The first thing I noticed with my CL launcher was that it needed a tool to open and replace the cap for the CO2 cartridges. The tool was built-in to the projectile clip but wasn't exactly convenient to drop the clip just to undo the cartridge. This simple thread cap has enough extension to open and close the cartridge compartment with your fingers. No tool necessary. It seals the same as the OEM cap but it's simpler and quicker to use. The machining is clean, the threads are precise and the finger grip is comfortable
