It works! Just be sure to update before using.
I had the previous Coov adapters (DK40, DS 50 Pro) and they all worked well. Yes, this adapter lets you use other controllers WIRELESSLY on PS5 with no perceptible input lag and it’s great. You have to update the adapter from the link on the packaging before using it on ps5 or it will time out after a couple minutes and stop working. There are also tons of macros for this adapter found in the instructions on their website. Don’t buy the Brook Ps5 adapter. It has terrible delay and doesn’t work wireless. The Coov Elite or Coove Lite (however it’s pronounced) is the best. Get it.

zero product support or way to contact manufacturer
Works better than most but i am extremely frustrated by 1 small thing. I cannot swap the share button with a trackpad click to use an xbox controller on the ps5 natively. There is a shortcut for it but thats not my muscle memory. They outline this in their very poor manual as common thing someone would want to remap, but the button to save the remap is the share button so you click it to remap and it saves and closes the remapping feature. I went to go post on their forum which is on a QR code in the box and they make it seem like you can post but you need to update your profile image first. Ok i upload a picture and then it errors out with a 403 rejected error. I'm not sure there is any way to do what I want to do which is remap the button like they said you can in the manual.

Good controller adapter.
Adapter works for the most part; there have been some connection issues, but that was minor. Overall, it's a versatile device that lets you adapt different controllers to different systems. Feels well made and decent price for what it is.

CoovElite Besavior DS50 Pro 2 Converter
I decided to give this a try mainly because I was tired of switching controllers between systems, and for the most part it’s been a surprisingly useful little device. The setup was pretty straightforward. It’s basically plug-and-play, but I did have to do a quick firmware update before using it on my PS5, which wasn’t difficult, just something to be aware of. After that, pairing my Xbox Series controller and Switch Pro controller was quick and painless. What I really like is the flexibility. I’ve been able to use my preferred controller across multiple platforms (PS5, PS4, PC, and Switch) without having to relearn different layouts. It supports features like vibration, motion controls, and even button remapping and macros, which actually work better than I expected. As for the actual performance, it’s pretty good. Input lag is minimal, I mostly play shooters and action games, and I didn’t notice any real delay. The Bluetooth connection has been stable for me so far, with no random disconnects during longer sessions, which I was really concerned about initially. However, it’s not perfect. The instructions are pretty barebones, so if you run into issues, you might have to look things up online. Also, compatibility can be a little hit-or-miss depending on the game or setup, especially on older systems or specific titles. I’ve had one or two moments where I needed to reconnect or reset the adapter. Overall, though, I’d say this is a great if you want a single controller solution across multiple consoles. It’s compact, easy to carry, and does exactly what it promises most of the time. Definitely worth it if you’re juggling multiple systems like I am.

A little iffy
This multi platform controller adapter is designed to allow compatibility between different gaming systems by enabling a single controller to function across multiple consoles and a PC after initial setup and firmware updating. It supports wireless pairing with various controller types and provides features such as vibration, motion input, and configurable button mapping depending on system support. Performance is generally responsive with low input delay and stable Bluetooth connectivity during typical gameplay sessions. However, compatibility and setup clarity may vary depending on the specific console or game environment. Overall it is a compact cross platform adapter intended to simplify controller use across multiple systems with customizable input support. A+ strong cross platform compatibility, low latency performance, and flexible controller feature support

UPDATE: Junk! Great concept, terrible execution.
UPDATE: It has been less than a month, and it now regularly just disconnects. Yes it is charged (not that you can tell on screen while using this). This happens when it's actively plugged in charging too. The only thing that fixes it is physically disconnecting this device from the PS5 and re-connecting it. Often, it disconnects again in a few minutes. Yes, the PS5 is up to date. It gets turned off overnight so it's not a restart thing. The light will still be purple on the controller and it is still registering as connected because when I unplug the thing, it says "controller disconnected". This in and of itself makes this product very not worth it, but with the other "features" described below, it's just junk. Original Review: This thing is literally a pain reliever! TO PREFACE: As many of us have discovered, the PS5 controller is not ergonomic and seems to only be optimized for large hands. I don't have abnormally small hands. They're average sized for a woman. The PS5 controller is large and heavy. The amount and angle of stretching my thumb and fingers had to do to press the right joystick and triggers at the same time gave me severe pain at my wrist/thumb joint. It took about a month of not using a controller at all for it to get back to normal. I thought I was out of luck. Either play PS4 games only or do potentially permanent damage to my wrist and use the PS5 controller. ENTER: The DS50 Pro 2. I can play anything now. I don't have to worry about potential permanent damage or missing out. This lets me use my PS4 controller for all games. I love it so much! Why did I rate this 4 stars since I love it so much? 1. It doesn't function until you are already logged into your profile. This means you can't turn it on, press the ps button at startup, or click on your profile. You can get up and walk to your PS to press a button on the device, but who wants to deal with that every time? Thankfully, my smart TV remote lets me interact with the PS screen, so I do that. 2. It's a whole 3(?)inch rectangle with a tiny little plug to hang off the front or back of your PS. I don't need to explain why this is a bad idea. Also it looks ridiculous. It comes with an adapter (type c to USB) so you could plug it into a USB port, but now it's a rectangle on a longer skinny stick. Great way for it to get knocked by the cat and bent or broken. I felt like it'd break off if I looked at it wrong. Do yourself a favor and buy a female USB-C to male USB-A cord so you can plug it in and set it flat somewhere. Luckily, I had one laying around. 3. You have to turn off Bluetooth to use it. Not a dealbreaker, but mildly inconvenient if you needed to connect a Bluetooth accessory like another controller. Overall, it's amazing. Make it so it functions like a normal controller and let me turn on the ps/press the ps button at start/click on my profile, change your adapter to a Cord, and I'd say it'd be just about perfect.
