Lavender Provence (Lavandula x.)

I received this lavender plant yesterday, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It's much bigger than I expected and very healthy considering it was shipped in a box and didn't see light for at least 24-48 hours. Just the tiniest of bit of stress in the very inner parts of this large, beautiful lavender plant (really, it's more like a small bush, it's so large!). Unlike some live plants you get in the mail, this one was packed very thoughtfully and with great care. The box itself is great because you can cut around the middle (as marked); to ensure you don't damage the plant, though, be very careful using a knife. I'm a bit nonplussed by its size and beauty, to be honest! I was expecting a couple of lavender "branches" that I would nurture until spring before planting outdoors, but this is such a gorgeous and established plant that I will be putting outdoors during the day for maximum sun (I live in Florida, so it's still very temperate here), but I am nervous about hurting it by planting it out before spring, so I'll bring it in at night to ensure it's not harmed on cold nights. I am completely in love with this plant! I do think that ordering at this time of year (October) may not be the best idea if you live in colder climates because it's really so clearly well-loved and cared for that it's best off with the growers until closer to spring when you can plant it outdoors. It's so healthy and hardy that it may be hard to kill, but I am not taking any chances. I will be using my grow lights to ensure it gets the right kind of light it needs, and of course keep it watered (but not overly so), and give it some nice fert to keep it happy. This is hands down the best live plant I have ordered online, and if anything happens to it, it can ONLY be user error. It's tremendously healthy and beautifully full and lush. Sigh. I love it! Update, March 2024: this lavender plant is still gorgeous! I still love it, and i can't wait to get it in the ground in a couple of weeks. I did have to bring it indoors because we got a LOT of rain and had a couple of freezes, but this plant is going gangbusters. He's gorgeous, and I love him so much!

This company packed my beautiful , happy and extremely healthy Lavender in a strong box ., to make sure this Lavender that they grew & cared for would arrive , perfect!! It is one of my favorite purchases on Amazon & I order way too much :) LoL My plan is to contact this nursery & have them help me decide how many plants I will need to fill my garden !! I absolutely Thank this wonderful company from the bottom of my heart!! I could not be happier! If you’re considering buying Lavender I can attest for their silver mist lavender - I’m telling you , it smells so good 😊 & looks (I included a picture) awesome too. Was a bit worried about what condition these plants would be in since they got mixed reviews, but decided to take a chance anyway. I just received 3 of the Phenomenal variety today (delivered sooner than expected) and am SO PLEASED with the quality! 2 of them are in impeccable shape, very full and no signs of damage. The third is a bit smaller and has some dead leaves around the base, but still healthy...hopefully it does well. Would definitely recommend to others and order more for myself, too.

I bought 3 plants - the first one that came was in a bag and packaged nicely. It was healthy - a good amount of shoots growing. So I ordered another one. That one came, not in a bag but that was okay because it was fine. It was big and healthy, no flower shoots sprouting yet but it looks great! I thought wow I’m going to order one more. At that point I would’ve given a 5 star rating for sure! Then the 3rd one arrived. Also not bagged, but no biggie. I took it out and I am highly disappointed. The entire bottom half is completely brown and dead/dying. It has a TON of flower shoots sprouting everywhere and smells good. But, I am worried it won’t make it. It’s bottom half of the plant is completely dried up and as soon as I touched it started falling off like an old Christmas tree. SO - I’m not happy about that. I spent $60 on 3 plants. I thought maybe being a returning customer they would try harder. Idk I guess it’s hit or miss. Praying it lives. UPDATE: 2 of the 3 plants died

Plants look even better than the picture, very healthy and very full. My only complaint is that the plants aren’t the same size and only one has bloom buds.

I received an awesome 20+ inch plant, it must have been very happy in a green house. Premier plant solutions has the best lavender plants on amazon imo, this review is for their phenomenal variety but today I received a silver mist and it looks great, a little smaller but nice. Those leaving bad reviews need to learn about the plant, I suggest the lavender lovers handbook by Sarah Berringer Bader. This is a growing greenhouse plant (I think), but others I’ve ordered in the winter have been a dormant plant cut from outside, those take time to start growing - hope this helps

I just received the plant few days ago. I was excited because it looks healthy for the first 3 days then it started to drooping, wilting and looks like it is dying. From day 1, I have it under a grow light to make sure it has enough light. I didn’t overwater it. It was isolated and not even near my other plants. I felt like it wasn’t really meant to survive. I noticed some bugs from the plant from day 2. I’ve had order plants online and sometimes received bad plants. But I was able to recover the plants most of the time. But I think I’m failing on this one. I have another Lavender plant that I got from Lowe’s 2 weeks ago that I know will not last but now it’s thriving. I did the same thing to bring it back to health. But it’s not working on this plant. I’m very disappointed on this plant. I have high expectation but I’m not sure if I just got a bad plant.
