Makes a messy job a bit simpler, and cleanup is really not that bad
this was a very useful tool. I was quoted a couple of thousand dollars to paint the room, so purchasing this together with the paint seems a pretty good investment. Pros: makes it much easier to paint a room, with fewer splatters and no pan of paint to step in, tip over, have a cat walk through . . . Easy to assemble Quick learning curve long hose means you can put the can in one place and reach almost the entire room compact assembly attaches to the can and makes it easy to carry no more difficult to clean than any other roller-type paint applicator Cons: the roller is a little heavy, especially when using overhead on a ceiling The hose is so long it gets tangled Cord is very short, requires a three-prong extension cord. Attaching to the can as the device does makes the can heavy on one side, so when it is full you have to be careful to have it on a stable surface and to carry it level. it is a little messy to pause the painting -- the roller has to be laid flat someplace, and overnight you have to figure out how to cover the can and the roller so it won't dry out. When paused, some paint does leak out, and if inside a plastic bag, goes to waste. I did not find the cleanup to be any more tedious than cleaning an ordinary pan and roller -- I put it in my two-sided utility sink, filled one side with soapy water, slid in the uptake hose and ran it out into the other side of the sink for a good 15 minutes or more, as suggested by the instructions. Perhaps because my project took three days, the paint accumulated and semi-solidified in a bend where the hose goes over the side of the can, and that took a bit more time to clear. Most of the paint can be pumped out before cleaning -- I did not find the machine to be particularly wasteful of paint, except when I laid the roller down overnight, and then a bit of paint does go into whatever receptical you place under or around the roller. The roller is actually easier to clean than a normal roller, as it is hard plastic and not cardboard under the fluff, is sturdy and has flow holes throughout. Tips: use masking tape to clean the fluff on the roller before using to prevent lint coming off on the wall (this is the same advice for all rollers). Do not over fill the roller . The instructions caution this, but it is hard at first to know when enough is enough. Use a bottle brush on the inside of the two roller parts when cleaning them. There is a video on the manufacturer site that outlines how to work it, as the written instructions are a little dense. However, the video's suggestion to use a bucket to clean this with seems impractical -- filling the whole sink with water made it much easier, if you have a utility sink you can clip it to. It is not a tidy process, to be sure, but what part of painting is?! the machine makes a messy job just a bit simpler, and it can be reused for the next project.

Amazing Tool! Best Purchase in Years!
This is the best money I've spent in ages. Saved so much time, works so so well, easy to use. I can't say enough great things about this roller. We painted the exterior of our beach home in Hawaii after getting a $50k bid, and this great tool made it so so so much easier. Paint goes on so smooth and fast. Easy to use, easy to clean, very intuitive. A+++ thank you for making such a fantastic tool!

Good for the money
As long as you keep working, this is a fantastic piece of equipment. You’ve got to get used to it so that you don’t over or under extrude paint, but it definitely makes the job quicker. Downside is as you have got to clean that roller completely. It’s got a little holes in it, and unless it is absolutely squeaky clean, it will not function the next time. I ended up buying a new roller in cage because it jammed up. You also have to absolutely super super clean the system every time you’re done otherwise it will clog.

Rollers only come in 3/8 inch nap so for flat surfaces only.
This is a bare bones auto paint roller. I had a paint roller years ago much like this which came with cleanup tools and extension accessories which this unit does not have. This paint roller works as expected.. but the delivery pressure system failed after the first day... From then on the unit has to be plugged in or unplugged to start and stop paint delivery.. It pumps the thickest paint, elastomeric. Its fine for painting flat surfaces., but i was painting a slightly rippled surface and the lack of any roller with longer nap that 3/8 rendered it unsatisfactory for that surface. But the price at 60 dollars was fair.. I bought two cause i knew cleanout and longevity would be a problem because of the one i had years ago. I have not used the second one yet. Anyway, if you want to paint with less paint loss and spill and trouble and move fast over flat surfaces... then this is well worth the money.

Well worth the purchase!!
I was very leery about purchasing this wondering how well it would work or continue working. It was phenomenal! Saves half the time and so easy to clean up! So happy I purchased it!

Good stuff. Works well
This thing worked incredibly well. You should get it. Much less mess than a regular roller

Works but impossible to clean.
Impossible to clean. Have to run water through it for at least half an hour and still lose a ton of paint

It could’ve been so good.
I so badly wanted this product to work. I read the reviews before I purchased it and I figured worst-case it was a $75 experiment. I didn’t think the cleanup would be as bad as other people said, but it definitely was. The hose that sucks up the paint is way too long. There should be some way to make it shorter or lengthen it depending on your needs. The cleanup is just too messy to justify using it. I will say that it does a great job rolling the paint with a continuous supply of paint, but that alone doesn’t justify the pain in the rear end is to clean this thing.

Save so much leg work up and down the ladder
Absolutely brilliant ! Best thing iv purchased in a long time that actually works and made the job of painting easier. Worked as it should saved so much time than loading the roller manually and no need for paint tray. Highly recommended
