Amazing. The only complaint is I ran out too fast. Lol.

Texture is like a puffy crunchy skittle! “Hard” candy that is a little airy in the middle, so not so hard that you can’t chew it — it sort of breaks apart or crumbles in your mouth. Very flavorful, and each has a distinctive flavor. I like my candy to have some tart, and this has a good tart taste. Has an interesting look, plan to use these in the Easter Baskets as I always like to put something in that’s unique or something my kids haven’t seen before. Not always easy as my kids are now late 20’s early 30’s, but they still want their baskets when they come home to visit. They will be a nice surprise amongst the jelly beans, with a totally different texture. I would buy these again. They do contain some fruit juices, but also contain some food dyes if you are trying to avoid. They are made in a facility that handles nuts, be aware in case of a nut allergy.

It is sweet, but not overly sweet, and has a slightly citrusy, tangy kick that keeps it from being overwhelming. You grab one and before you know it you are reaching for more. It was a big hit in my house, both with the kids and the adults. Everyone loved it and kept going back for another handful. The bag size is great for sharing, and the resealable packaging helps keep everything nice and crunchy after opening. I definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys fun, unique treats with lots of flavor and crunch.

The candies arrived in good shape, no pieces were broken, and there wasn't too much powder at the bottom. As soon as you open it, the extremely sweet smell hits you. The taste just is not for me. They are very sweet and do not melt in your mouth as advertised; they are crunchy, and you must chew them to swallow them. They wouldn't be too bad mixed in ice cream or yogurt, maybe, but just grabbing a few and eating them by themselves is too much for me. If they are truly freeze-dried, they shouldn't be so crunchy, so I don't know if it's the preparation or what. And the packaging is low quality and generic, like someone just printed out a color label and stuck it on a plain, clear bag. So that, along with a price too high for what you get, just make it a poor value.

I don’t buy freeze dried candy a ton, but I have purchased quite a bit of locally made candies similar to this one, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. These "rainbow crunchy candy bites" are made from an off brand candy, as opposed to the "S" variety. The texture is crispy and crunchy, exactly what you want from freeze dried candy. The price is in line with most other freeze dried candies I have tried, so nothing shocking there. It’s also a nice size 14 oz bag with enough to be shared, which is great because it’s easy to snack through more than you realize. Overall, it seems to be of decent quality with no complaints from me. If I were specifically looking for freeze dried candy like this, I would totally consider this as an option again.

The flavor is decent, not strong but on the mild side. This candy goes by fast when crunching into it. 23 grams of sugar, so it does have a decent amount This is something fun to snack on and you probably won't eat too much of these in one sitting. Fair value for this size pack and flavor balls. Good for a candy dish at a party.
