I was diagnosed with MS in 1997. I also have arthritis in my knees (thanks Mom and Dad).The items in this “kit” are a wonderful help. I purchased this on the advice of an Occupational Therapist who was helping me with work arounds for my MS and dexterity.The shoe horn helps me get my shoes on without having to try to twist my knee or bend down to get my foot into my shoe. The “grabber” helps me retrieve items that are up too high or too far away. The “clothing stick” helps get hangers up and off the clothes bar in my closet. The elastic shoe laces are a big help in not having to tie my shoes every day and the sponge, although not super sturdy, does a great job helping to wash up.Even though I haven’t had a hip replaced, I wish I had known this product existed 20+ years ago when I struggled with doing every day things for myself. I’ll probably get my mom one as a gift. She has arthritis in her hips and spine. This will be a big help to her.

Kit had everything we needed for my husbands Hip surgery and everything was very durable. He still uses the reacher.

I use this equipment to train my patients how to reach their feet when they cannot. The first time a patient used the metal shoe-horn, it bent. It was not as sturdy as other metal shoe-horns I have seen and used.

this hip kit is so great! good for after surgery but, we use it for just everyday if we need it so glad we have it.
