Country Living Decorating with White

My sister says I am addicted to wicker....true, so what is the problem. This is a book that speaks to everything I aspire for a beach home feel with a long term value. The book is great and really highlights how important wicker has become to american decor.

If you love the country white look this is a very good book to get you going. I borrowed this from the library first and renewed it 3 times. It is a primer about decorating with white, with textures, shades of white, rooms to use white in and accessories for the richest most well done rooms.

I've been collecting Country Living books for a few years. That being said I cannot stand when a company uses the same photo in different books. I was very happy with the book until I realized I'd seen the same room photo in another Country Living book. Whats us with that? My collecting of CL is over as that was a major turn off for me.

I really debated about buying this book, and tried not to want it so much! But it is so great, for anyone obsessed with (or just interested in) decorating with white. I keep taking it out and looking at the photos over and over, and I get new ideas every time. Of course, not all the things I like are possible, but there are enough ideas that are both possible AND affordable -like white paint!- that it is inspiring. I am already painting and planning.

This book is very helpful with lots of exciting new ideas for decorating with white. I have wanted to change back to all white but needed ideas to avoid a completely "washed out" look. Varied surfaces, tones of paint color, accents, etc. are among suggestions that work well with white and offer many great ideas. The pictures are very good, also. The book totally met my expectations.

I am incorporating alot of rustic white in lots of shades in my home. In my family room, I have used it with various shade of blue and LOVE it. I am also underway redesigning my bonus room using off-white. This book is giving me LOTS of great ideas to decorate my home. I don't tire of looking at it over and over again!

Ordered this book 'used' from Book Outlet Canada and it was in perfect condition. Currently my favorite decorating book with lots of beautiful clean, fresh country rooms decorated using a lot of white, but also splashes of other colors.

Great decorating book

洋書が欲しかったのですが、内容が分からなく、表紙に一目惚れして購入。予想以上に素敵で、ページをめくるたびワクワクします。フレンチカントリー？かな？シャビーなのもたくさんあり、家具はヴィンテージが多いと思います。甘すぎず、シンプルな白インテリア好きな人には合うと思います。
