HELLA H4 100/80WTB High Wattage Bulbs, 12V

Not street legal. BUT properly aimed the they have never caused any oncoming traffic to ever flash their lights. They were installed with relays added with 12 ga battery feed and the lighting is truly amazing, especially high beam. To me these perform better than led because they focus properly. Do your homework before going with expensive leds. I’m in rural Hawaii, country road lighting is pretty much non existent so these are truly a necessary improvement. Some reviews say they don’t last as long as lower wattage bulbs, in most cars they are a quick install. I carry 2 spares as the price is very reasonable. Well done.

These HELLA H4 100/80W bulbs are AMAZING! I have a 1988 Jeep Comanche with the old enclosed-style headlights, and the factory lighting was way too dim to feel safe driving at night. After some research, I picked up these bulbs along with Hella headlight housings and a wiring harness from K Suspension. Holy cow what a difference! The brightness and clarity are on a completely different level. My old Jeep now has headlights that outperform most modern vehicles I see on the road. Night driving feels comfortable, clear, and far safer than before. It did require a bit of work to install everything, especially converting from the sealed beams, but it was absolutely worth the effort. The upgrade honestly transformed the truck. If you have an older vehicle with dim headlights and you’re doing an H4 conversion, I highly recommend these bulbs. They completely changed the way my Comanche drives at night.

Instant improvement noticeable over silverstars. My 2025 kia soul came with horrible factory halogens + terrible lighting design in general. They were promptly swapped to H4 sylvania silverstars. There was still something missing and then i noticed Hella made a still higher watt bulb. They are much brighter than your usual 55/60 watts, but still feel easier on the eyes of oncoming traffic. I think this is ethical. I bought an led kit as well but sidelined it. If excess power consumption, heat, or small wear life becomes an issue, i will try something else but this appears to be a winner.

I've been using these bulbs for a few years now, no issues and Hella bright. I'll buy another set when these burn out.

Dropped in a 2019 Kia Rio S. Which is 9003 (hi/lo). I wanted HIDs but for the price and given its a reflector headlight, I went with halogen for ease. These exceeded my expectations on output. Compared to the original Osram Factory 45wLo/65wHi these 80Lo/100Hi are at minimum twice the throw with brights. The longevity of these is yet to be reported but for $12 a set, I'm not worried if I gotta replace them every year or so.

After trying multiple LED bulbs that failed or went dim over time (and also threw light all over instead of just on the road where it was needed), and several halogen bulbs that just always fell short, THIS is the wattage combination that works the best in my 2008 Highlander. A separate harness with relays is a definite must in my opinion not only to get the most amount of voltage possible, but to also protect your factory wiring while running bulbs with wattage that are well above what the car was designed for. These work so well and are so inexpensive that I bought 2 more sets to keep for future use.
