Great lock, but setting your code takes patience.
Very pleased with the product, but not for a beginner if you want to set your own code.If you like the code it has, excellent value.

Not good
Zero instructions. The 1st one I ordered the combo was already set so it will not open, I figured it happens so I returned it for a replacement and the exact same thing happened. I will return this one for a refund and never buy from them again. They obviously never check the locks before shipping them.

Not for Mail box
I wanted to use for my mailbox that is in a similar to the Post Office. Latch does not allow for complete closure of door.

Tricky to set up - but works in end
Okay, whew. Finally got it working - now I like it!No instructions, but as other reviews will tell you, default code is 000. Make sure it turns the lock (should only turn 1/4 in one direction), then using a small pin or screwdriver, push the reset button in and hold it, while holding reset the code, then release reset button.I had to loosen the screw on the back a bit to get things moving properly, after all said and done I tightened it back up.

No combination
The combination would not open. The product looks great but the 000 combo code listed in the description is not accurate. There are no instructions in the box only the lock itself. The seller promptly replaced with another lock however, I had the same issue, the combination wouldn’t open the second lock either. So, I’m returning it as well. I’m trying another seller.

It would be nice if the combination was known, like if it were written on a piece of paper and sent in the box,

How do you change the combination?
No instructions. Not sure how you change the combination. Also, the cam on it was too deep, so I used the cam from another lock.
