Kiefer Thrust Swim Fins

Nice fins. Have been using them in the pool for swimming laps. With these, you will not get much of a workout. They do propel you through the water quite effortlessly. The fins are made of a soft rubberized material - softer than others I have tried. They marked up the forward part of ankles a bit but nothing too bad. I like the blue and grey color offered. Good larger sized fins. Pleased with purchase.Update 10/11/19: Still using these fins for laps in the pool. I like to swim two lap sets of different strokes - Breast, back, side stroke and last combination of all in the last set. My favorite is the backstroke where I can flutter my legs and get a good cardio workout and stretch my ankles to the resistance of the water. Ahh, feels so good. Furthermore, I bought a Spare Air 3000 scuba system. Which adds to the fun of using these fins. I like to swim underwater with a dolphin swim style. I am limited to only 2 laps before the air runs out. Overall, very pleased with my Kiefer fins!

These fins are identical to U.S. Divers fins. I ordered both sets in the same size in order to compare them. I chose to keep the Kiefers because the U.S. Divers were a tad bit too large. They flexed with each stoke and I felt them bend in the arch of my foot. Otherwise, they are great fins. I thought I was ordering red ones but they were delivered in blue, which is fine with me. The photograph on the order page showed them in red so I don't understand the mixup, oh well. I use these fins in the swimming pool and they are great for lap swimming. They do float, not that I cared about that feature. I removed a fin on the bottom on the pool and it eventually rose to the surface. I guess that's a good feature if you cared about that. I don't plan on losing them in the pool.

The reason I like these fins is because I have very weak ankles and they're easy to maneuver under the water. I can move very fast in them. I was looking for something a little more flexible but these are the most flexible fins that I can find on the internet. I would have to say I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend them. Especially if they closed foot as opposed to the open ankle with the strap behind the ankle. Those are very hard on my ankle and I don't recommend those

They function well-ish, but as mentioned by the previous reviewer these are NOT good quality flexible fins and if you don't have very strong ankles they probably won't work for you. Also I used the sizing chart when selecting my size but these are VERY narrow and they sort of smash your toes if you have wide feet. I ordered a new set from another brand and may return these.

When they arrived one of them looked warped in the opening for your foot and they looked like they had been used before. They are stiff and very uncomfortable to wear. I loved my speedo fins and they were out of stock so I thought I would try these, they are not worth it. I have no idea how they have such a high rating. Happily Speedo has some back in stock so I'm getting those again.

These fins provide enough flexibility to allow for AWESOME thrust while still offering a decent amount of resistance. LOVE THEM! It appears they have been manufactured with BETTER MATERIALS!!!!!!

Perfect! My son has wide feet! Not super wide but too wide for most fins. We find that the Kiefer fins fit perfect! So, if your feet are on the wide-side, haha, GO Kiefer!!!

Christmas Gift for my Stepfather . He thinks they are great and fit him so well.

these were bought as a gift--sizing is small so they are no good for the person.
