These are so great for just normal hiking shorts which is what I use them for. They don’t ride up at all in the front or back even if your legs touch each other while wearing the under armor mesh underwear. They also don’t retain smells very much since the material is synthetic. Pockets are a highlight since I can fit my iPhone 11 Pro Max with a case and still have room to spare. I feel extremely comfortable that my phone will not pop out of my pocket during normal hiking or fast walking. If you are running then you could zip the pockets, but I just hold my phone when I run or put it in an arm band. I will be buying more of their shorts in the future (this isn’t a fake robot review either)!For reference I purchased the green ones in the xtra large size (the waist band has a good bit of stretch which is super nice).

The pockets are undersized, but still usable. I’m only giving it 3 stars because the seam on the rear is already unraveling and I only wear them as a swimsuit on the weekends. These are gonna leave my ass hanging out soon.

The challenge in warm weather is finding shorts to wear with a t-shirt that can hold your wallet, keys and cell phone. The MAGCOMSEN men's outdoor sports shorts fit that bill perfectly. I have a large cell phone and it fit fine in the zippered pockets (secure, too). The sizing seems true, too.

It was only a matter of time before I knew I would lose my phone due to the shallow pockets of my gym shorts. When I would sit down, my phone would fall out of my pocket about 25% of the time. SOMETHING had to be done! These shorts were the answer! My phone hasn't fallen out once since wearing them, hasn't even come close. And not because I zipped up the pocket either. The pockets are super deep so the phone stays put. They feel more like bathing suit material than gym shorts, but that turned out to be a positive thing. When they get wet due to sweat, they don't cling to your skin and you can't really tell they are wet by their appearance. I started off only purchasing one pair so I could try them out and ended up getting four more.

The shorts were of high quality except for the mesh material of which the pockets were made. This material is often used for the pockets of bathing trunks but not casual shorts. The pocket fabric would never hold up under conditions of normal use like carrying car keys and would tend easily to snag.

These are pretty nice shorts. I'm wearing them now. They move freely. They don't bind at all. They are made of some kind of fabric similar to bathing suits, but not exactly the same, that dries out quickly. They fit well. They have three zippered pockets, two in the front and one on the right rear that come with tabs making them easy to open even when you're wearing cycling gloves. The front pockets are reasonably deep so that stuff in them doesn't dig into your thighs when you move. I'd like more pockets, but they fit so well I'm giving them 5 stars.

*updated again. After wearing the one pair a couple times and it going through the laundry a couple times, one seam has come apart. Thankfully I have someone with a seeing machine kny life.*updated. I purchased a second pair and noticed that the sizing is a bit different. Both pairs are 2x, but the 2nd pair is a bit bigger, but it isn't a problem.These are pretty decent shorts, I've since ordered another pair. The pocket opening is too small for my hand and the pocket itself is fairly small, though I can put my phone in it.

These are comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. The pocket openings are pretty small, like others said, but they're budget shorts after all - not designer stuff. The pocket itself is big enough for phones etc. I saw mixed responses about there being a mesh liner, so I'll say mine did not have one (thankfully). The biggest downside is, since they're so thin, the front is very...revealing. Like, not just a little bit, so be prepared to flaunt yo stuff. I got the khaki color, so darker colors are probably not as revealing. Overall, I'll probably order another (MUCH darker) pair.

I'm loving these shorts. Decent looking, quite a few colours available, and the zippered side and back pockets make them awesome for outdoor activities like hiking or running, as well as wearing to the gym. Very true fit, and a great value at $25 a pair.

Wrong colour arrived and they took forever to be delivered. Not that comfortable and for a sports or hiking application I would prefer them to be shorter legged. Pockets small. Quality seems fine.

I would not recommend these shorts, the pockets are very small and are in the wrong angle making it awkward to put your hands in,The zippers are very poor quality and need to be opened and closed using both hands to avoid the zipper sticking and snagging,The shorts are not very comfortable either, I am disappointed with comfort and fit.

Material is OK, I didn't like the way they were finished, nor the cut. Material bunched at the front in an odd way, even though waist fit fine. Returned.

Shorts are great I train 5 times a week and after multiple washes still haven’t faded or aged . Ended up with 4 pairs. Only issue is I had and old school jeep car key in the pocket for a run amd the pocket lining tore parallel to the seam .Otherwise perfect
