Isis: Queen of Egyptian Magic: Her Book of Divination & Spells

So that's what happened...
It's a nice book as if Isis made a Biography. It tells her story and within the story are spells and she tells you about her family and there are lovely pictures of artifacts and hieroglyphics. It was a nice read.

Lacking depth...
Unfortunately the book is nothing like what I expected. I thought it was going to be a scholarly translation of Egyptian scripture and insight into the rites of the worship of Isis but this is simply an overview of the Isis myth with the authors fabricated "spells" dispersed throughout... Not worth it for someone seriously interested in the mysterious and mystical tradition of Isis.

It makes sense!
I like how it helps to connect with misinformed history taught in societies horrible education system...

Very good condition and read
I just love how its set up. It introduces Isis story being told by her. Although it shows only a few chants and spells, it is mostly about the life of Isis and her associations. I really recommend this book and it is great to learn about the Goddess Isis and her many forms.
