This is the best book if you want to learn how to speak Haitian Creole or need to past an exam, this is the book! I hated my teacher because she didn't know half of what she was talking about but I was able to study and past without asking her any qquestions.This book will help you..Just try it. I love it!

Excellent book. I’m taking a functional nutrition course and this was recommended. it’s a great is a wonderful addition to the course and it allows me to visualize what I’m learning.

It took a total of 2 seconds to decide I needed to own this book while browsing the medical section at Barnes and Noble. The only problem is, I really didn't have $40 to spend on a book. So off I went to Amazon.This book has some amazing high quality images. If you're as big of a nerd as I am, seeing a massive 2 page digital image of an axion, or a detailed look at muscle fiber is breath taking. While there are a few incorrect facts and a few mislabeled body parts (the inner ear bones come to mind) I've heard these were corrected on newer prints.Even if you're not a nerd, the images are amazing and should grab the attention and fascination of anyone with an even passing curiosity about the human body. Information and pictures are excellent! I am a Reiki Master Teacher and use this to visualize/determine where I need to work on a person's body. Would also be great to use as a learning tool for all ages. Highly recommend!

Bought this book with much anticipation. Very disappointed with the font size.This edition is "Revised and Updated". So I returned it. If there is an edition with larger font size, I will buy it.

The pictures in this book are amazing. The text in this book, however, leaves something to be desired. If the text in this book was as great as the pictures, then I probably would have given this book a perfect rating. I have extensive training in both anatomy & physiology and pathophysiology and I feel that this book provides only a basic level of learing in Anatomy and Physiology. If the text was more in depth, it would make an outstanding high school text book or an interesting supplemental book for a college anatomy and physiology course or lab. Just a sidenote: In my opinion the CD contained little useful information.

Got it for my granddaughter who wants to be doctor. It is a great adjunct to her medical terminology class.

I bought this book as I wanted to use it in conjunction with my other reference books, to learn more about the body and diseases. I'm glad I bought it, it's set up in a brilliant way! The colours, pictures and illustrations are clear and amazing! It is all so easy to read and understand! The index is so useful in helping find the exact info you are looking for!I cannot fault this book in any way!! :)

Ideal for any students needing to learn parts of the body in depth in different subjects . Currently being used for references in A level PE and health and social subjects after a teacher lent my daughter his book to help her as she could grasp part of the structure .this book helped so we purchased it for her .

I am very impressed with the detailed level of knowledge in this book. Beautiful graphs with very point descriptions. I would recommend it to anyone interested in “their body”, but also for a great help for biology and science classes for teenager and adult students

I wanted a book on the human body for reference purposes. This book is certainly fit for purpose, it’s easy to understand with very good information and diagrams. Some of the print is a bit on the small size, but shouldn’t be to much of a problem if you have glasses.
