Very logical, incorporates the business reason behind what we are doing. I have read it multiple times and I have encouraged my entire team to adopt this theory into their training development.

Good textbook read
The chapters are super long but it's pretty insteresting for a text book. The summary check lists are AMAZING. A learning professional should consider purchasing this book.

Charged 2x for this book. Could not get them to remove 2nd charge
I tried to download the book to my kindle and something went wrong and the connection was interrupted. The price of the book was 26.89. When I received my credit card bill, I was Initially was charged 4x for the book and my credit card company advocated on my behalf to remove two of the charges. I still have two charges of 26.89 on my credit card for 1 download of this book. I do not recommend this vendor because of billing problems. I do not recommend Amazon.com because of unwillingness to assist.

Effective Learning & Development - in a nutshell
This is the best book I've read on how to go about Learning & Development interventions that actually work. It is written very clearly and captures exactly what you need to know to deliver breakthrough learning.
