William Curley A Masterclass Couture Chocolate and Patisserie 2 Books Collection Set, Hardcover

These two books are genius, they are exactly what I want which give both basic skills and creative ideas, as a big fan of chef sherry yard, I hate to say that these two books are superior to sherry's, worth buying.

Both are beautifully presented and look amazing, I am yet to try to make one as It is so difficult just to pick one :)

The Curleys are clearly Masters of what they do. I do not think it is a book to on which to base your first steps in patisserie. Inspirational - certainly, but many of the recipes are undoubtly time consuming ( for a non pro) and quite intricate. Also, the proliferation of "Japanese" ingredients is something I found slightly off-putting since having eaten a Matcha Kit Kat a year ago - it is just something to which I am not accustomed.However, if you are up for the challenge - it is a great book.
