Works amazing!
First time using a unit like this and it worked great to help heal chronic heal pain I’d been battling. Also have used it for recovery. Appreciate how easy it is to use. Sometimes the signal drops but overall it’s definitely worth it.

Does not work Will not stay to Bluetooth required to use.
Device will not stay connected to my iPhone 13 running iOS 17. Continually disconnecting, and sometimes it reconnects most often it does not. What really upsets me is that the manual that came with the device has two pages on Bluetooth connection and compatibility. But the final paragraph says, and I will quote this here. “ If you fail to reconnect and resume stimulation after several attempts, consider stopping your stimulation session, using stop button on the stimulation, screen and postponing it for later.Another paragraph quoted below they says-too bad you cannot use your device of connection problems.“ Due to hardware level emergency stop mechanisms Bluetooth disconnections of a more permanent nature should not affect the safety of stimulation and can only cause a temporary inconvenienced by forcing you to post pone your plan stimulation session until more favorable. Bluetooth connectivity environment is established.”So, although a program will continue to run if disconnection occurs. And you can complete it without a connection. You are not able to change the level of stimulation during that 20 minute run if there is no connection. Why is there such a problem with the connection? None of my other Bluetooth devices have trouble connecting to my phone and staying connected except in rare occurrences. This device is not worth the money with this kind of problem. I don’t think any device is worth the money if it can’t perform the basic function of controlling the device via Bluetooth connection that is a necessity for use of the device. Reading through some of the other reviews that have reported problems with connection and have reached out to customer support, it looks as if the company has no intention of improving this device. It seems to be a built-in flaw that they want to keep. Very disappointed with this device. I had high hopes for its function and efficacy.

Expensive but worth EVERY PENNY!
Over the past few years, I've dealt with sciatica pain that literally drops me to my knees. During that time, I’ve gone through roughly 5 different tens units (starting with the cheap butterfly Aleve unit). But NOTHING has worked like this set up. The app is the #1 selling point and has many different ‘workouts’ depending on the body part and as well as any type of manual settings (shock patterns and degrees of shock). You can use these on pretty much any part of your body that is causing you discomfort (knees, shoulders, back, feet, arms, etc.). This by far is the BEST tens unit out there…from the app that goes with it to the minimal size of the unit itself. I highly recommend to anyone who has muscle pain or if you have any other tens unit. This is a MUST have! 5*s across the board.

Defective Product/APP, and Poor Service Culture
Do not order these. Their app has significant communication issues. I cannot get one of the sets to stay connected. I have now sent it back two times, and I DO NOT WANT a third try. Their poor customer service is more than the technical problem they need help fixing. You can only communicate via chat, which I have wasted over two hours trying to navigate a solution to a poor customer service rep who has no way of helping other than to send a replacement. I asked to elevate this and speak to a technical staff member, but I'm still waiting! It is hard to believe that a "brand" like Therabody has such a poor service culture. Even if their other products are good, they are dead to me just because of their lack of service culture and customer relationships.

Amazing and highly functional
Late June 2019, I had a significant grade 3 inversion sprain with my right ankle. After wearing an aircast boot for 3 weeks and wearing semi-hard lace-up ankle brace for 3-1/2 months, I was noticing that my ankle was feeling less stable and more pain daily. In January 2020 I saw my orthopedic surgeon. Physical therapy for 10 weeks. During the course of the physical therapy, I had the suggestion of a tens unit. Later that evening an ad for PowerDot 2.0 showed up on my social media. The first use I did a 15 min pain relief session on my ankle and a 20 minute session on my tibia. The unit is amazing (yes, I don't use that word lightly, but it was A M A Z I N G!). You choose the amount of time for 15 min or more and the amount of intensity you desire (and can adjust throughout the session).Definitely considering a second unit & pads, so I can do more than one part at a time.

It is working out
Update 3/19/2019. Device software must have worked itself out. Wish I had bought the duo to save time.Device worked 24 hours. Then it stopped being connected to the app. To fix I have to unpair the device in my Bluetooth settings and delete the device in the app. Then I have to hard reset the device and pair. I have to do this every time I want to use it. This is a higher pain on my asset than what I bought the PowerDot to fix. When it works it does it's job.Update: Corresponded with developer and the developer said product wasn't designed to have such a bad experience and it was probably my phone, My brand new $950 Flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 phone, that is either the best or second best phone in the world. Yeh, right. Don't think he vetted that by his public relations person. He later replied to return for an exchange. So I will.
