People just love to complain. They however are very good glasses for 40.00. The quality of the frames are exactly what one would expect for the $$$. The arms are a way short for my regular sized head but the work OK. I read a lot of complaints that the lenses were not dark enough which I can see why some said so but I do a lot of sight fishing and if they were much darker it would impair the ability to see in the water as well. Plus they are plenty dark to keep one from squinting in heavy sun days. I have not wore them too much yet so I can not say how long they will last but I imagine if I don't sit or step on them, they should last a year or so before something snaps or breaks. They are comfortable enough but after 6 hours of fishing, if feels good to take them off, similar to wearing shoes all day, they are comfy shoes but boy it feels good to take them off.
