Great!
Love this knife!! Very comfortable in my hand. I strip my wire fox terrier and my airedale terrier. I'm no professional and not very fast with it so my hand gets pretty sore by the time I'm done. This knife is far more comfortable than my others, and the others are Hauptners so they're good ones, just not comfy in my hand. This knife is perfect for flat work but works well on the entire dog. If you're looking for just ONE stripping knife that can pretty much do it all, then this is the one you want to get!!

...war mir bei der Bestellung des Messers über dessen Verwendungszweck nicht sicher, da ich eigentlich auf der Suche nach einer Zupfhilfe für Ohrenhaare war. Zum Glück ein VOLLTREFFER...die Ohren von unserem Hund sind groß und gut zugänglich, aber das ausdünnen der Innenbehaarung war für ihn immer schmerzhaft, für mich uneffektiv und für uns beide nur grauslich...und jetzt...bingo. Das Messerchen an den Daumen, Haare greifen, sanft ziehen und die überflüssigen Härchen lösen sich problemlos und wohl auch relativ schmerzfrei für den Hund. Wenn man es nicht übertreibt und das ausdünnen auf mehrere Tage verteilt, ist der Hund zufrieden, das Ergebnis kann sich tatsächlich sehen lassen und der Mensch freut sich. Eine ganz wichtige Hilfe auf dem Weg zur eigenständigen Hundepflege...

Perfekt
Heute geliefert und gleich ausprobiert. Das Messer liegt gut in der Hand und man kann damit die Ohren des Hundes gut zupfen. Hatte erst bedenken, aber der Hund lag ruhig da und ich konnte die Ohren fertig machen. Dieses Ohren Trimm Messer kann ich gut weiter empfehlen.

Excellent for fine work
Fine stripping knife is excellent for fine work, especially around upper muzzle/eye area. Standard stripping knife will take care of most other areas, with shaver applied to very sensitive spots (eg, tummy). Our Irish Terrier is “learning” to love the attention.

An essential tool for tight flatwork.
Adore this little knife it makes it so easy to detail my terriers ears for hand stripping. I think it is super well made and easy on my hands and fingers. Grips hair well and makes my life so much easier. Definitely recommend.
