Kiki, a young witch-in-training, has reached the age of 13. According to tradition, all witches of that age must leave home for one year, so that they can learn how to live on their own. Kiki, along with her talking cat Jiji, fly away to live in the seaside town of Korico. After starting her own delivery service (using her broom as the delivery vehicle), Kiki must learn how to deal with her new life, especially after she loses the power to fly. A great book from a great movie
Incredible book based o a marvelous movie. I read it to my 4yo every night before sleep and she never grows tired of it.

livre lu et relu plusieurs fois par semaine par deux petits garçons dont le plus jeune à 2 ans. le livre a été maltraité, mais la couverture tiens bon, les pages ne se sont jamais déchirées intégralement. très solide et très résistant, comme toute la collection. Tiens le choc depuis 2 ans maintenant.

Sie lieben den Film? Dann werden Sie dieses Buch auch lieben! Zur Abwechslung lese ich meiner Tochter auch aus dem Buch vor und erzähle die Geschichte, während sie natürlich den Film kennt. Einige Szenen fehlen hier im Buch (die Wahrsager-Hexe, der Kiki in der Luft begegnet, bevor sie ihre Stadt findet), aber die erzähle ich dann einfach mit.

Excellent!!
This is such an adorable story! No scary characters or anything like that. The pictures are vivid and bright. The pages are sturdy. My two year old grandson and 8 year old granddaughter both love the movie, so I thought they might each like the book too. This one did not disappoint!
