Peace Of Mind (At A Premium)
I have a couple of these. They make an excellent addition to any EDC to have something light, durable, and even expendable to use to open boxes, break freshness seals, and lots more. More importantly, it can give someone a sense of security and confidence to defend themselves. The price of the Munio is considerably high for a bit of plastic camouflaged as a gaudy key ring accessory, but it is made of ABS plastic, which is rated for high impact and is the 'fancy' plastic gaming keyboards are usually made of. I've used my Munio for pretty much anything I would use a sharp object for and has held its shape and is as pointy as the day I received it. I've also gotten through TSA through major cities without issue on multiple occasions. The artwork makes it as innocuous as it can probably get.The alternative I'm offering is the "Klever Kutter," also sold here on Amazon which you can get a pack of 5 for $10 or pack of 10 for $18. All you have to do to modify the Klever Kutter to become a Munio is snap off the bladed wings and file down the point. If I had to use it as intended in the context of self defense, I would use it in a grip style I've come up with that also works for utility application for when I need to make my strikes both heavy and accurate, unlike the "reverse grip" or "ice pick grip" I've seen the Munio advertised with. Holding the object between the ring and middle finger and nested in the palm generates a greater amount of force and is as natural as throwing a punch, just better because of the force multiplier at the tip. I've just started calling the technique "Suntok Dulo" which means "tip strike".Seems like a smaller individual, say a female or child, wouldn't be able to generate as much force applying a hammer fist upward to an attacker larger than themselves or have the reach / aim to strike the face. Things to consider.Nerd Stats:Munio: 13.0 gramsKlever Kutter ('modified'): 14.4 gramsAs with anything, salt grains.

I LOVE Munio. I love the name's meaning (I protect/I defend). I love the thin yet incredibly strong structure of this product. After I leave a review for this one, I'll order another one (I mean today) for traveling. I love that you can take it with you on a plane and still not be vulnerable to a physical attack. It's hiding in plain sight, because it's very pretty and just looks like a cute keychain (for those complaining that there's not a plain colored one it's to really disguise it as a weapon, Sherlock) . It's deceiving, because I tested it out immediately upon arrival. If you've ever tried to open a bag of bottled waters, you know it's TOUGH. I sometimes use a knife and still struggle to open it. The knife makes a thin cut. Not Munio! I stabbed and dragged Munio in one swift motion and created that huge gaping opening in the bag. I'm glad there was no water bottles on that side, because I believe they'd have been damaged! I added my keys and whipped them at coats once time, that were hanging up and one flew off the rack 🤣! This is an AMAZING safety tool. I usually don't leave reviews, but I was very impressed. I had to stop because I didn't want to scare my kid further, as he watching me and hearing the racket. God bless this company with more success. As a former victim of violence I wish I had this to protect me in the past!

Very pretty
Seems like a good punch reinforcer and an okay sharp tip to puncture. I did stab it against a slat of wood and the sharp tip immediately wore down..it's still a little sharp but I was a little disappointed that it didnt hold up.

Lightweight and discreet protection.
I recently purchased the Munio Kubaton Safety Keychain and I am so glad I did! Not only does it add some extra flare to my keyring, but it also provides a sense of security when I'm out and about. This little device is like having a secret weapon in my pocket. It's lightweight and compact, so I can easily carry it around with me wherever I go. It's made out of sturdy material, so I know it will last me a long time. I haven't had to use it in any emergency situations yet, but I feel better knowing that I have it with me just in case.Overall, I would definitely recommend the Munio Kubaton Safety Keychain to anyone looking for an extra layer of protection. Plus, you'll feel like a ninja every time you pull it out!

Love it
I would def recommend having one if you are traveling abroad. It’s nice to know you can protect yourself and it’s allowed through airport security. It feels sturdy enough that it could puncture just like the product video shows. You would need some force though. I would also recommend pairing with a personal alarm like birdie

doubt this will work as a self-defense tool but looks nice
I doubt this will be of much use as a self-defense tool (probably work as well as poking my keys into someone's eyes, but I already have keys!) but it looks nice, seems safer (and cheaper!) than a taser or pepper spray. The best thing about this is that it comes with three sequentially attached rings so I can clip it to the strap ring on my purse and still keep my actual keys inside the external zipper cpmpartment.

I like it
I love this cause it doesn't set off metal detectors. It looks more like a keychain then protection it may look flimsy but a good punch with this in your hand to the face can cause a lot of pain.

I’m glad I found something
It does not look like I am carrying more than a keychain. And I hope I don’t have to ever use it
