Great for detail sanding on curves

Worked great for backing sand paper, used for surface preparation of fiberglass rear spoiler, primer blocking, and final primer coat preparation prior to base coat! Good value, comfortable size, easy to use and produces good results on non-flat surfaces! Recommended! 👍

Context: Wet and dry sanding on 2005 Dodge Ram fender. There is barely a flat surface on it. Pro: It did not soak up water when wet sanding. Paper did not bind or slip off of the block (no adhesives used) Thin enough to feel contours but thick enough to hold a consistent sanding surface. Cons: None really. Just be sure you know what it is for. Maybe a little thin.......Maybe not. Notes: This is better described as a contour block. It is working great in the contours of the fender I am working on but a thicker block would probably do just as well and be more comfortable for the amount of sanding I am doing. They have a couple of "Big Block" options I plan on getting before moving on to the next body panel.

Its a nice block, fits decent in the hand. So far easy to use, but would be nice if it was a little more flexible. But comfortable, functions are it should, and good value for the money.

I used this to sand down a fiberglass body kit before paint, including bumper curves and side skirt contours. The flexibility of this block was very useful, because it conforms to the shape of whatever surface you're working on. I could get into tight transitions and curved areas without creating flat spots or uneven sanding marks. It's comfortable to hold for extended sanding sessions. It lasted 3-4 days of sanding and shows no signs of use.

This block is very soft

I thought this was a little expensive but it works perfectly. Wet sandpaper does not slide around and the sanding is even without any hot spots. I don't feel like it was expensive now that I've used it. It was used it to wet sand clear coat, which left a mirror finish once buffed.

I not sure what to expect with this item but for the money I assumed it would be quite a bit larger ! It was in fact tiny just about the size of my hand, not very good value and no better than a piece of hard packing foam that I could get for free. I advise customers to check the size I'm sure this was not clear on the description in the add.

Gotta have these to restore full faired motorcycles with curvy surfaces. They work great - and the 2 densities of the opposing surfaces allow you to deal with different kinds of curves. perfect.

This is the perfect sanding block for curved or shaped bodywork, it follows body contours nicely. I am glad I have it, it will make my life a little easier with my restoration. But now that I have used it, I can honestly say that it is very overpriced for what it is. It is just a thin block of foam. I would say that it should cost no more than $5
