Martin M260 80/20 Bronze Ball End Classical Guitar Strings, Regular Tension

Very good strings with balanced tones from the strings. With a bit of care tue strings can last for couple of months. Although that is not suggested as the strings get old and the crisp sound falls due to grease and sweat from the playing hands.I have recorded a few songs through condenser microphone (Behringer C3 running through Behringer audio interface with midas pre-amp) using this string on my classical guitar and it sounds great. The acoustics in my bedroom studio gave it a boost of 2db in the 50k region on the lower strings which can be reduced by any EQ and with a bit of tweaking I finally got the sound I was looking for.

Wanted to change metal strings on my 7 years old 6 string f-cut hollow body to nylon.It is not classic guitar and needed strings with ball ends.Stings fitted nicely. Length was adequate.6th string caused issue to make a loop in the pin on fright-board side since the hole in the pin was small (but managed).Guitar needs to be tuned everyday so far (though people say these are teething troubles and after some time it retains).Got rid of issues related to metal stings. It has become soft now on fright-board. These strings have better damping.Acoustics is decent if not great (I am not a professional player).

Have purchased these before. Great tone and the ball end makes fitting them so much easier as my hands are not a nimble as they used to be and tying plain end strings is quite tricky.

Ich war vom Preis der Saiten sehr angetan,weshalb ich sie bestellt habe. Nach der bisher vergangenen Zeit muss ich sagen, dass mich die Qualität der Saiten doch sehr überrascht. Der Klangverlust der Saiten ist ungewöhnlich gering. Ich bin eigentlich Bassist und nutze die Gitarre fast ausschließlich zum Schreiben vin Songs. Ich würde diese Saiten immer wieder gerne kaufen und spielen.

They sound great when you put them on.However in less than 3 days the E string snapped on me while playing. Tuning stability is also not great on these.
